Mojo is all about how food should be savored by the senses. It’s a comfortable place where you’ll feel welcomed. Mojo was created to be a gathering spot with original artwork on the walls, live jazz and acoustic music in the lounge, and where the food reflects the seasons and spans the globe with inspired items influenced by diverse cultures from Asia to Latin America and the Mediterranean. Not only are foods fresh from the farm, local butchers, fishmongers and day boat catches, there is an emphasis in the kitchen in using organic grains and vegetables, Loch Duart Salmon, free-range chicken and fine meats. Inside Mojo there are three unique dining/gathering rooms. The first is the main lounge as you enter the restaurant with a raised club area with cocktail tables and cozy sectional seating. Next to this cool mini-lounge are high top tables and L-shaped bar that invites one to explore an adjacent dining room. The two dining rooms are a vibrant blend of cottage chic and tropical art gallery with vivid paintings by Falcione on the walls, a long banquet in the side dining room and comfortable booths along the walls in the main dining room. You feel like you are in an island resort, with real character that invites you to enjoy a good conversation with your meal. Mojo’s menu features appetizers and entrees, most are affordably priced from $10 - $30. Signature items include: Zuppa di Pesce, Organic Salmon, Duck Breast, and Char Sui Pork Chop. The restaurant’s bar offers a full liquor bar, and a well thought out selection of wines from California, Oregon, Chile, France, Italy, Argentina, Germany, Australia and New Zealand – many available by the glass. There are domestic and import beers and unusual twists on specialty drinks. Valet Parking is available from Wednesday to Saturday. Mojo also provides expert catering for weddings, parties, corporate gatherings, dinner parties, cocktail receptions and celebrations of all kinds both on premise and at the location of a clients choosing. The restaurant can host parties from 20-175 people. Falcione is available for special event and private chef assignments.

The inspiration for Bar Italia came from the summer of 1952, in Cosenza, Italy when my father and his long time friends would gather once a week in the same meeting spot for a homemade plate of pasta, a little red wine from the cellar or a cold beer and always a friendly game of Italian cards called "Briscola". Four years later in 1956, a small neighborhood mini bar filled with beer and wine was added to the space next to their meeting spot. The four friends took a chance on change and after a few glasses of wine, one of the friends raised his glass and shouted “it’s great playing Briscola with you my friends at Bar Italia” they all looked at each other and new that for many years to come Bar Italia would be their new home. Bar Italia became the spot to celebrate life with friends and family. Now my Father and I are sharing this concept with you, our family and friends, both new and old in Fort Lauderdale. When entering Bar Italia, your eyes will be drawn to a tall glass display showcasing our fine wines. To set the mood you will be warmly greeted by our friendly staff as the vibes of smooth music guide you to your seat. Head chef and owner, Fabio Cracco, displays passion and warmth at every turn. For over three decades the love of food has run through his veins. Back home in Italy, he was a restauranteur for many years, then carried his affair to the high seas, working as a private chef on luxury yachts. Settling in the Fort Lauderdale area, several years ago, Fabio once again returned to his love of the kitchen, hospitality and service. At La Cucina Veneziana, guests are welcomed as friends into his home! Buon Appetito!

Our generations old recipes, made from scratch dough, authentic old world sauces and cult following garlic knots were created in New York and perfected in Colorado over a decade ago by Native New Yorkers who decided to go west. Now two NY friends have teamed up to proudly share with Florida our passion of serving great pizza and Italian food in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere.
