RUST General Store is an 1860s inspired general store located within the Old Town San Diego, State Historic Park. The products are meant to reflect the history and culture of people living in, and the places trading with San Diego during the American/Transitional time period from 1846-1872. RUST opened its doors in July 2011 and will continue to expand the interesting and unique product lines to highlight the influence of Northern European travelers, traders, and residents that found their way to what would eventually become “America’s Finest City,” San Diego, California. RUST will also seek to offer products from Peru, Hawaii, the Philippines, and other ports of trade to reflect the places early San Diego pioneers traded with. It is our goal to reproduce an ambiance and shopping experience that is appropriate for the historical time period in San Diego, while maintaining a stock of products that are both interesting and useful for our 21st Century visitors.

San Diego, CA 92110

(619) 688-3938

Los Locos Bar and Grill located in the heart of Old Town San Diego is a barbecue joint infused with mexican street food. It was founded in 2013 by owner Steve Pinzini and Chef Jacob Greene. Steve is a San Diego native and his love for Old Town is what led him to choosing the location we are in. Steve wanted to provide the neighborhood with not only Mexican classics but he felt the neighborhood was calling for more and that is when he met Chef Jacob. Chef Jacob Greene grew up working in diners and dives but worked his way into high end French cuisine before leaving the uptown fancy bars and getting into barbecue. Chef Jacobs undying passion for smoked meats led him and Steve to opening LOS LOCOS. They are humbled by your loyalty and love already. Every 3 months the menu will change so get in and get your favorites and tell us why they are your favorites so they can make the next menu with you in mind! You read that right! Your voice and opinion can affect the next menu!! Come on down and GET LOCO

For many years, tourists flocked to the local fishermen’s houses to feast on local pacific lobsters. These lobsters, split open and flash-fried, were presented on big platters and served with piping hot flour tortillas, delicious ranchero beans, Mexican rice and local red hot chili sauce. Guests would pick the meat from the shells and wrap it in the tortillas along with the beans, rice and a dousing of hot sauce! And of course, icy cold Mexican beers and pitchers of margaritas would be the beverage of choice! In 1983, Rick DiRienzo, the founder of Rockin’ Baja Lobster, introduced these lobster dinners to legions of fans in San Diego. He converted the historical Old Bonita Store in Bonita California, to a Puerto Nuevo style lobster house. In 1992, he opened a second location on the harbor in Oceanside, CA. It was here that he created his now famous Baja Buckets®. Not satisfied with just lobster prepared Baja style, he experimented doing every type of shellfish the same way. Our buckets now come with choices ranging from slipper lobster tail, shrimp, and snow crab, all prepared Baja style. The Original Baja Bucket® comes overflowing to your table with Baja style slipper lobster tails and shrimp along with grilled carne asada and chicken. A house favorite! What truly adds to the sunny coastal paradise of our restaurants, besides our beach murals and funky artwork and signage, are some very important ingredients: our unlimited all-you-can-eat chip and salsa bar, warm flour tortillas, platters of Mexican rice and beans, and the endless smiles and hospitality of our staff. We pride ourselves on offering our guests a fun, rockin’ good time, truly delicious and unique food offerings, icy cold beer by the bucket, if you wish, and a varied selection of the best-tasting margaritas anywhere. So come on in, sit down, get in the mood, lick your fingers after each bite and quench your thirst any way you please. It’s Rockin’ Baja!
