The Dinner Detective is the largest, award-winning, interactive comedic murder mystery dinner show in the United States. We are now running public and private shows in cities across the country every week. Our immensely popular shows are set in the present day. Unlike other murder mystery dinner shows, here you will find no cheesy costumes, no recited campy dialogue and no hokey song and dance. Our performers are dressed just like everyone else, leaving all of the guests to suspect who is a part of the show and who is not. In many instances, guests are seated with the performers and don't even realize it until they die...the performers, that is! Our Detectives proceed to interrogate everyone and find clues as more people die. At the end of the night, prizes are awarded to the Top Sleuth who solves the crime.
Our mission at Depth Xpressions is to showcase and cater to the unknown artists in the Omaha area. We strive to find the difference in art that speaks through the voices, images, and dramatics of our artists. We are interested in the voices, poetic pieces, stage performers, and artists regardless of medium in our community. The anticipated opening of our venue is June 2015. All parties who are interested in joining our network are encouraged to contact us at [email protected] for any inquiries, details, or general questions that you may have. We are the art that speaks!

Our location is in the historic Poppleton Block, built in 1886 by Andrew Poppleton. The Poppleton Block was designated an Omaha Landmark in 1982, and is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Andrew Jackson Poppleton (1830-1896) was the second mayor of Omaha, in office for a few months from July to September of 1858. After his stint as mayor, Poppleton was a prominent real estate businessman and lawyer. Poppleton Street in Omaha is named after the former mayor. The gallery operates completely through the volunteer efforts of the artists whose work is on display. Every artist member spends 2 - 4 shifts each month greeting visitors, handling sales functions and performing duties necessary to the successful operation of the gallery. Each visitor is able to visit with an actual artist member of the gallery. Membership is held to a total of 22 artists, providing a blend of two dimension and three dimensional art that is sure to please many different artistic tastes. The Passageway is a very active participant in the Old Market Gallery Walks held once a month in the summer and spring. First Friday openings each month feature one or two gallery member's works, accompanied by hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. Gallery Walks and First Fridays are free and open to the public.
