1809 Minor Ave
Seattle, WA 98101

(206) 682-2935

"The small basement space on Minor Avenue has been open only since February, but it's already establishing itself as a crucial cog in the city's electronic-music scene. Kremwerk hit the ground running. In its first week, Austin--the venue's booker--scored future-bass star L-Vis 1990, and since then, he's brought in an excellent array of local and international talent, including Silent Servant, Santiago Salazar, Dreamweapon, Jimi Jaxon, Kode 9 and Raica. Now with a capacity of 231 with its newly installed patio, we help champion the scene's underground action. Kremwerk's interior fuses an industrial, bunkerlike atmosphere (exposed, rusted pipes and sprinkler, much concrete, steel, and wood, etc.) with a chic after-hours spot. It's dimly lit and low-ceilinged and sports excellent feng shui, with plenty of nooks and seating away from the dance floor. Several shellacked and sanded tree stumps serve as tables." - Dave Segal, The Stranger http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/kremwerk-and-the-family-stone/Content?oid=19830908

Confession

Seattle, WA 98122

Located on the corner of Pike and Broadway, Confession at Therapy Lounge provides an intimate venue for avid music connoisseurs and creators alike. Each week Confession can be identified as a place where both creators and listeners have the opportunity to experience music together, network and grow. We focus on booking local talent and providing a stage to not only showcase skills, but also to meet likeminded artists, promoters, designers, etc., with similar devotion to their craft. While the music trends towards electronic, the samples, mixes and remixes you will hear booming out of the speakers, are generally too diverse to be categorized by any specific genre. Ultimately, at Confession we respect good music as being one of the most powerful tools made available to human kind. With that tool we aim to do two things: bring people together and dance. https://www.facebook.com/events/268854273267719/ https://www.facebook.com/TherapyCapitolHill

PIE BAR is the brainchild of identical mirror twins, Alyssa Lewis & Natalie Delucchi. Alyssa is the cofounder of the Seattle Pie Company. Her pies have won numerous awards and accolades locally and nationally three consecutive years in a row. Natalie, her twin sister, is an intoxicating mixologist. While Alyssa was perfecting her pie craft, Natalie was perfecting getting people smoothly lit. Together they unite their wicked talents to form PIE BAR on Capitol Hill. “We wanted to create something sinful. There is nothing I love more than having a piece of my marionberry pie with a frosty Organic Fishtale Amber.” MORE Nat has managed to turn my pies into booze concoctions. What is a Pietini, one might wonder? It’s a fascinating experience! Combine local distilled vodka with pie.” Lyss has been looking for a location to move her pie company after the City’s Shoreline Management shot her pie boat concept down on South Lake Union. After the twin’s father passed away in July, they decided to reopen the pie company together. Lyss explains, “I took all of the things I loved about Seattle Pie and brought them to an environment that better shows who I am, including my other half, a presence that Seattle Pie didn’t have. I spent my year off, finishing up my book, “Pie Girl” and fishing in the San Juan Islands. I thought I would come back to Seattle sooner, but the Salish Sea gave me the time to rejuvenate my pie disorder. The twins believe that they have concocted a true recipe for foodie success, PIE BAR, is set to open at its Capitol Hill location at 1361 E Olive Way in early spring. The Menu will consist of Alyssa’s famous artisan fruit pies, including her marionberry pie suffused with St. Johns Wart, savory pot pies, quiches and cream pies. Her twin, Natalie, will perfect the bar with local microbrews on tap served in frozen Mason Jars, Chelan wines and Pie infused martinis. Our goal is to turn your day into a sinful one, to give your minds the ultimate feel good foodie experience, celebrating our local farmers, breweries, wineries and distilleries along the way. Pie Bar will be offering whole pies and slice pies out a half window, where frequent piers can line up at 2pm to close to grab pie and go.

Located in Melrose Market, Lower Bar Ferdinand is our original location. We are a wine bar and bottle shop. We serve glasses & bottles of wine from family owned, small production bodegas from all over the wine-producing world. It might be a biodynamic supernatural white wine from a madman in Slovenia, or the product of the sweetest couple in the state of Washington. We want to pair wine for your meals or any occasion. ** Upper Bar Ferdinand is our new project in Capitol Hill's Chophouse Row. Like the original Bar Ferdinand, our focus here is still very much on our wines, sourced with care from family owned, small production bodegas from all over the wine (and sake, and beer) producing world. Here, we pair our beverage offerings with a food menu of simply prepared dry aged and cured meats, cooked in our open fireplace, and local seafood, served raw, cured or smoked in our passive heat masonry smoker. We have a small bread and pizza program, as well as a selection of vegetables, prepared pickled or roasted. Our beverage and food offerings rotate daily, and a sample menu can be seen here.
