Its a place for the guys to relax, connect, build a support system, and have fun, while at the same time providing opportunities for them to set and achieve goals, and enhance their HIV/STI knowledge and risk reduction behaviors through education & positive initiatives led by members of the community themselves.

Multicultural and Diversity Programs serves the UAB Community, especially our students, by developing programs and resources that promote multicultural and social justice awareness, education and appreciation. Additionally, we support the growth of students' attitudes, ideas, and behaviors as they relate to multicultural issues and personal and social identities. Multicultural and Diversity Programs focuses on the six areas of Cultural Engagement, Student Leadership, Dialogue and Critical Thought, Mentorship Programs, LGBTQ Programs, and Diversity Training, each creates opportunities for student involvement and education, advocacy, and awareness. UAB Inclusive Campus Statement I will strive to build an inclusive community at UAB. I believe that every student, faculty and staff member has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and self-worth. I will work to ensure that my behavior and my actions do not harass or make fun of anyone due to their race, gender, culture, faith, class, sexual orientation, disability, or any other difference. Although I know I am not perfect and I will make mistakes, I believe that it is my responsibility to act in a manner free of bias, exclusion and discrimination. I believe I have the power to build an inclusive UAB.
Revelator believes in cultivating meaningful experiences. We design our shops to embody this belief. They are bright and open, with stay-awhile appeal. We train our staff to put service first. They are committed to a culture of Southern hospitality. We work with partners to root ourselves in the communities where we operate. Each shop features food and goods from local purveyors that complement our coffee. We choose coffees to fit a simple, seasonal menu, and roast them to celebrate each coffee’s unique character. Revelator is, and will always be, a work in progress. We work hard to get every detail right for our customers, and sometimes we succeed. The rest of the time, we remind ourselves that the trying is itself a source of meaning – and then we get back to work.
The Alabama Theatre is a movie palace in Birmingham, Alabama. It was built in 1927 by Paramount's Publix Theatre chain as its flagship theater for the southeastern region of the United States. Seating 2,500 people at the time, it was the largest in the Birmingham Theatre district. The district was once home to a myriad of large theaters that featured vaudeville, performing arts, nickelodeons, and large first-run movie palaces. The Alabama is the only district theater still operating today. Built to show silent films, the Alabama still features its original Wurlitzer theater organ. Other than the Alabama, the Lyric Theatre is the only theater still standing in the district. The Alabama and its historic organ were added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on February 15, 1977 and to the National Register of Historic Places on November 13, 1979. The theater has been surveyed by the Historic American Buildings Survey on several occasions, the last time being in 1996.
