Founded in 2005 by Bronx, New York-born director, choreographer and performer, Eric Baez, former Eddie Torres dancer, Universal Mambo Dance Academy opened its doors then as the first and only On2 mambo dance academy in Central Florida. From that moment Universal Mambo hit the ground running, its professional dance team is world renowned having performed nationally and internationally. The last years have brought much success. From its humble beginnings at the James Dance Center in Southwest Orlando, Universal Mambo has grown and now has its very own beautiful nearly 1700 sq. ft dance studio located at Orange Blossom Trail and Central Florida Parkway, complete with 1300 sq ft of dance floor and 40 ft of mirrors.
