Our original football team began in 1998 as a football club with the goal of starting a semi-pro team with enough members. Not having enough members we merged with the California Cardinals, finishing with a 7-4 record & gaining a playoff birth. In 1999 we formed the West Coast Sharks finishing with 8-3 and runner-up in the CFA. In 2000 the L.A. Inferno fielded our team finished finishing 5-5 after losing the first 5 games. Our 2001 Season was our best winning the SFL championship losing the 1st and only L.A. City Championship to the newly formed Inglewood Blackhawks. Joining the SWFL The Inferno made playoff runs 2002 and lost the 2003 Championship game to the Las Vegas Cobras 27-26. In 2004 the Inferno merged with the Carson Chaos for one final season, finishing 7-4, falling one game short of a playoff birth to the Champion Valley Predators with a team that was formed two weeks before the 1st game.
