It's not an Art Class--It's an ART PARTY! Scratch the structure. Lose the lecture. Bottle & Bottega is all about friends, a canvas, and a bottle of wine. The only lesson to learn: You DO have an inner artist just waiting to be realized!

Northern Lights.mn is a roving, collaborative, media-oriented arts nonprofit based in the Twin Cities. Since 2008 we have worked to bring innovative art to the public sphere and spark new relationships between audience and artwork, and more broadly, between citizens and their built environment. We support global and local artists working at the intersection of disciplines to freely create new work that excites the senses, explores ideas that matter, and re-imagines ways of engagement among artists, sites, and audiences. Northern Lights.mn shines throughout the year with projects such as the Northern Spark festival, The Creative City Challenge, Artists on the Verge, The Giant Sing-A-Long at the Minnesota State Fair, and permanent, interactive public art for Saint Paul’s Union Depot. Utku in Quechua - the language of the Incas - means cotton. The development of textile-making in Peru goes back thousands of years. The pre-Incan cultures had already mastered exquisite construction techniques. Recent discoveries have found that the Incas grew cotton in different colors. Seeds of these colorful varieties, found in archaeological remains, are being recovered and grown. The combination of colors, textures and styles is expressed in the fascinating world of fashion. It’s almost impossible not to enjoy and admire such different expressions. Since I was little I followed trends and I chose for myself what to wear. My mother used to tell me “You are impossible. You won’t wear anything you don’t like.” I was always faithful to my own tastes and ideas, while at the same time remaining a tireless observer of developments and changes in the industry. UTKU fashion aims to be the means through which different Latin-American Designers have the opportunity to display their talents. Fashion is one of the major components of each country’s culture. In Latin America there are various styles and trends, each inspired by age-old cultures and with a cosmopolitan flare that endues it with a certain singularity and great potential. One of the best ways to show off a garment is by letting it seduce the audience thru the grace and physical expression of the models wearing it, providing an exquisite visual synthesis for those attending the runway show
