19125 Fitness started out as a small garage gym in Fishtown. 19125 Fitness is not just an area code; its a life changing event that not only has saved my life (Donnie, owner and trainer), but has allowed me to help other through my passion of health and fitness. My goal isn't only to help you "exercise." My goal is to help you create a healthy lifestyle. Fitness is only a small part of being healthy. Eating clean, drinking the appropriate amount of water, getting the right amount of sleep are all parts of this lifestyle. 19125 Fitness recently moved to Port Richmond (3421 Richmond Street, 19134). I now offer group classes as well as one on ones. 19125 Fitness offers group classes 7 days a week (see times above). We rotate 5 different classes; TRX, bootcamp, metcon, kettlebell, and butts and guts. On the 6th day we start the rotation again. Group classes are offered in monthly packages. Each month you will need to purchase a new package, regardless if you used all of your classes or not. This forces you to be committed to the gym. the packages are as follows; 4x a month is $40, 8x a month is $65, 12x a month is $90, 16x a month is $115, 20x a month is $135, unlimited times per month is $150. One on One training is still an option. However, the prices have went up since moving from the old gym. The new prices are; $35 a session. However, pay by the session is not an option anymore. You now have to pay monthly. 1x a week is $140 a month, 2x a week is $230 a month, and 3x a week is $310 a month. There are options available for training with 1 or 2 other people. Ask about pricing if you are interested in training with one or two other people. One on one clients get a little more than group session clients, which is one of the reasons they pay more. All one on one clients are added to the Facebook group; "19125 Fitness Family." In that group, two weekly at home workouts and two weekly gym workouts are posted so you can do on your own. Measurements and body fat tests are also done every 6 weeks. Along with that, clients also are tested on their performance every 3 months. They will go through a series of strength and cardio workouts throughout the course of a workout. These will be done exactly the same to see if their performance gotten better. Finally clients also get to workout on Sundays for an hour and a half with me; going over stretches, foam rolling, different stretching techniques, etc. This is for one on one clients only. For more information about one on one contact Donnie. Owner and Trainer Donnie Welte Brief History: I grew up with sports. As child I played soccer, baseball, and basketball. In high school I was a Varsity basketball player for three years at Northeast Catholic High School. Senior year I received All-Catholic honors. After high school I went to Manor Junior College. I was a two year starter, and in my second year I received All-conference honors. After Manor I moved onto Rowan University on a basketball scholarship. Prior to my first year beginning I tore my ACL, LCL, and Meniscus. I rehabbed my knee myself, however, I did not return to Rowan. At that time I realized what I loved to do, train and compete with myself in the gym. I trained and did labor work for the next couple of years (focusing more on training than I did work). I did not like what I was doing; working construction did not make me happy, and I was miserable going to work every day. I thought about the things that I enjoyed, and came to the conclusion that the two things I liked most were working out and helping others. That’s when I made my decision to be a personal trainer and, to this day, was the third best decision in my life (one of the others was asking my best friend, Jennifer Marnoch, to marry me). “If you were a millionaire, would you continue to do what you do now?” I would have to answer yes! Being in the gym everyday and helping other become healthier is very important to me. Some things would change; I would have a bigger facility and do more charity work, but yes, I would not change what I do for the world. My goal is to help you reach your fitness goals. Whether your goal is sports specific, fat loss, muscle gain or anywhere else on the spectrum, I am confident that your goals can be reached if we work together. Safety is my number one concern. I critique your movements on every rep to ensure that you stay injury free. I absolutely love my job. I am a gym rat, and love to be in the gym. I personally train 6-7 days a week using the same methods that I teach to my clients. -National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) Graduate -500 hours Personal Training Program -300 hours of classroom instruction -100 hours Nutrition -200 hours hands on gym time -CPR certified -NPTI Kettlebell Training Certificate -NPTI TRX Certified *All payments are due on the day they are scheduled.
