Mary Tomás Gallery is a contemporary fine arts gallery offering collectors, designers and patrons exciting and visionary art. Located in the vibrant Dallas Design District the gallery space provides opportunities to inform, instruct and inspire art collectors. Since 2009, owners Mary and Alberto Tomás purposefully select artists for their gallery roster who encompass unique artistic styles and exhibit diverse backgrounds. Craighead Green Gallery represents the finest in contemporary art from nationally and internationally recognized artists. Gallery director, Kenneth Craighead, and partner, Steve Green, opened the gallery in 1992 in the Dallas Arts District. Since that time, the two partners purchased a building and relocated the Gallery to the Design District. Scot Presley joined the Gallery as Assistant Director in 2002. Craighead Green is recognized as one of the finest contemporary art galleries throughout Texas and the Southwest, representing over 40 artists of all mediums. The Gallery focuses on contemporary paintings, photography and sculpture in a myriad of media and styles. Craighead Green represents mid to late career artists while continuing their promotion of emerging artists. The Gallery is a participating member of the Dallas Art Dealers Association and CADD, Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas.
Cohn Drennan Contemporary contributes to the cultural dialogue of the Dallas-Fort Worth region by partnering the gallery’s relationships with national and international artists and organizations with Texas artists of compatible and correlative sensibilities. The gallery’s curatorial projects with international museums and festivals provide a bridge between the next generation of Texas artists and the world. The gallery is a member of the Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas. Co-owner, Cohn Drennan, served as Director of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University, and as Deputy Director of the United States Department of State, Art in Embassies Program.
