A former luggage transfer station for the adjacent Reading Railroad, the space has been renovated into a beautiful and unique event hall. Sky-high ceilings, dramatic chandeliers, stained glass throughout the building coupled with a state of the art sound and lighting system. With a large lobby, four bars and a mezzanine with tiered seating and a balcony we host events from 200 to 1200 people. Centrally located in Center City, we are one of the few facilities to feature a parking lot (actually, we have two of them!). Only a 10 minute walk from several different public transportation stops and just a few blocks from I-95/676 entrance/exit ramps. Getting to Union Transfer could not be easier. Within eighteen months of opening we were featured in Rolling Stone Magazine’s "Top 20 Venues in America" and named by the BBC as "one of the hottest venues on the US east coast". You can purchase tickets online by clicking the TICKETS icon on any show page on our site and will be taken to the Ticketfly site. Purchase over the phone by calling Ticketfly at 877-4-FLY-TIX. You can also purchase tickets for shows at Union Transfer w/ NO SERVICE FEE at our box office (1026 Spring Garden Street). The box office is open every Friday and Saturday from Noon to 6pm AND every evening we have a show from 5pm to close . We accept both cash and credit (no fee for either). If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show. If you’re unsure, please call the Union Transfer to inquire. In addition to our box office, tickets are also available six days a week with NO SERVICE FEES at Philadelphia’s finest independent record store Long In The Tooth (2027 Sansom Street). Perhaps the most enlightening thing they came across was the 1 ounce pour. More pleasing to the palate, and lighter on the wallet, the 1 ounce pour allows you to sample more. While the old world became the new world, one thing remained the same, food of comfort. Chef Alex has created twists on classic pub fare such as his “Lamb Bourguignon Shepherds Pie”, and “Tikka Masala Mussels,” and rest assured there will be something for everyone. Righteous Jolly looks forward to serving you his gin infused with lavender and black cardamom in his “Flaming Ricky”, his “CuCuCumberKiwiBasiltiño,” a martini made with cucumber, kiwi, basil and jalapeño, and many more cocktails of a satisfying and original variety. We have all the the popular beers and drinks at reduced prices probably half of what others charge nearby. Previously the owner of south Philly’s The Latest Dish and Fluid night club, Tony Schiro brings you his newest restaurant venture in Northern Liberties. Jaxon byob (named after his 3 year-old son) set to open March 9th 2016, where the old Il Cantuccio stood, at the intersection of N. 3rd. and Fairmount Ave. Jaxon’s dynamic chalkboard menu will be driven by local farms and urban gardens. Ever changing, the menu will take advantage of the best produce that the seasons have to offer. “I wanted to open a quaint neighborhood restaurant focusing on fresh seasonal ingredients from local farms in the area,” Mr. Schiro has said. The food will be tag- teamed by two Philadelphia chefs, who have worked at restaurants such as, Vernick, Kanella, Little Fish and Serpico. Together Ed Conwell, and Doug Dreisbach hope to create a locally sourced, casual atmosphere, focusing on produce and simplicity, with menu items contingent on daily availability.
