The Vittum Theater is owned and operated by the Northwestern University Settlement House. The 299-seat Vittum Theater was built in 1998 and is named after Harriet Elizabeth Vittum, head resident of Northwestern Settlement from 1907 to 1947. Vittum Theater is located at 1012 N. Noble St. in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. In addition to hosting multiple performances and other events, Vittum Theater is also the home of resident theatre company Adventure Stage Chicago. Vittum Theater is available for weekly, daily and hourly rentals year-round. The Chicago Water Tower is a contributing property in the Old Chicago Water Tower District landmark district. It is located at 806 North Michigan Avenue along the Magnificent Mile shopping district in the Near North Side community area of Chicago, Illinois in a small park, the Jane M. Byrne Plaza. The tower was constructed to house a large water pump, intended to draw water from Lake Michigan. It is the second-oldest water tower in the United States, after the Louisville Water Tower in Louisville, Kentucky.The Chicago Water Tower now serves as a Chicago Office of Tourism art gallery known as the City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower. It features the work of local photographers and artists.HistoryThe tower, built in 1869 by architect William W. Boyington from yellowing Joliet limestone, is 154 feet (47 m) tall. Inside was a 138-foot (42 m) high standpipe to hold water. In addition to being used for firefighting, the pressure in the pipe could be regulated to control water surges in the area. Together with the adjacent Chicago Avenue Pumping Station, it drew clean water from water cribs in Lake Michigan.

Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat BBQ throughout the day with the featured competition pigs being served later in the event.
