At Hillside Evangelical Free Church, we believe that the Bible is God's totally true Word. We believe that God's Son, Jesus Christ, lived a perfect life, died for sinners and rose again from the dead. We believe that the Holy Spirit of God lives in those who receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe that everyone who is "born again" through faith in Jesus is part of God's family, the Body of Christ, the Church.
Mar Yosip Parish is part of the Assyrian Church of the East, Diocese of California in the United States. This parish was initially established by men and women of Assyrian descent. Today, Mar Yosip Parish consists of approximately 500 families who also reflect a great diversity of backgrounds and religious traditions of origin. The Assyrian Church of the East has her origin with Jesus Christ, and in the Apostolic Community called into being by Jesus Christ, and enlivened by the Holy Spirit. The Feast of Pentecost, which is celebrated fifty days after Easter, commemorates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and marks the beginning of the mission of the Church to the world. The Assyrian Church of the East believes that she has maintained a direct and unbroken continuity of love, faith, and order with the Church of Christ born in the Pentecost experience. As the matter of fact, the Assyrian Church of the East still uses in all the church services the Aramaic Language, the language that Jesus spoke and parts of the scriptures were written.
Sundays At PBC Willow Glen Each Sunday we gather as a family to worship the living God and gain refreshment from His Word and the life transforming reality of the Gospel. Sundays are rich opportunities to be reoriented to God’s ways, work and desires, as well as opportunities for healing and strengthening of our souls. These gatherings help equip us to function with love and grace in our broken and lost world, each week freshly edified to be his agents of truth and love in every arena, to non-believers (and fellow-believers) of every stripe. Sunday services are at 9:00am and 10:45am, with a 30min Fellowship Time between services designed to provide folks with opportunity to experience community and stay connected. Coffee and morning treats are plentiful, as is the fellowship.
We have the great privilege of partnering with families and helping children on their path to becoming fully-devoted followers of Christ, in a fun, upbeat age-appropriate environment for your child!

KidServe Special discipleship program to train and provide preteens opportunities to serve the community with God’s love. Resumen del propósito del Ministerio Este grupo esta aquí para servir a los jovenes de Iglesia Sobre la Roca, principalmente de las edades de 13 a 18 años . El equipo de "NEW CREATION" tiene una gran visón para estas maravillosas creaciones que llamamos niños. Creemos que sus vidas están llenas de propósitos y que Dios los puede usar EN ESTE MOMENTO a servir y vivir vidas que reflejen el amor de Dios. Los jovenes en este grupo de edad dilean con muchos cambios. Tratan de balanciar el estrés, la presión de amigos, confusión, miedo del no saber que puede pasar en la secundaria, sus imagen corporal y, finalmente, el bombardeo de presión de lo que la musica y television les dicen que deben ser. El grupo New Creation está aquí para hacer esta transición más fácil con el acceso a los adultos que están dispuestos a ayudar. Este año nos centraremos en la forma creativa de llegar a los jóvenes en la secundaria para que podamos transformar las casas, escuelas, y nuestra ciudad. Nuestro tema del año será “was lost but now I'm found”. No puedo empezar a decirles lo tan entusiasmados que estamos de ver como Dios se esta moviendo en este grupo. Vision Our vision is "Disciples Making Disciples." "Disciples" - It is critical to discover who God is, His pursuit of us, and His love and acceptance of us, as what He says about us matters more than what others or our cultures say about us. When God's identity becomes our unchangeable foundation, then we can thrive through the ups and down, and the trials and struggles of life. We will explore what it means to follow Jesus, and become like Him in our thoughts, words and deeds. Discipleship includes our participation in the local church, the Body of Christ. Therefore, we value our relationships with each other, care for one another, and use our different perspectives, gifts, experiences, etc. to serve together. "Making Disciples" - Jesus commanded us to share His Good News with the rest of the world. Therefore, we seek ways to positively impact our communities for the Lord. As God enables us to usher people into His kingdom, we recognize our calling to guide them on their lifelong journeys, growing and maturing in Him all along the way. Belief We believe in the one true God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the only mediator and savior of Man to God. He died for our sin, resurrected in three days and will be coming again. The Holy Spirit is the Counselor sent by the Father. The Holy Spirit convicts men and women of sin and leads them to repentance. It is He who give spiritual rebirth and He who sanctifies; He dwells in the hearts of believers and is the source of the believer's life, work, and strength. We believe the Bible to be divinely inspired. It is the sole basis of our faith, life, and foundation of the church. We believe that all people have fallen into sin, the just penalty for which is eternal death. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ, who shed his blood for our forgiveness, may we be saved and enter into eternal life. We believe the church to be the body of Christ. Christ is the Head of the church, and all believers are under His leadership. Through godly living and serving in love, we bear witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning Service: 9:30am American Sign Language is provided during the worship services. Adults and children worship together until 9:50am. Then children leave for Church School. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome. Adult Study: Sundays at 11:00am Taizé Service: 6:45pm first Tuesday of each month. Stone Church’s Taizé service consists of peaceful, candle-lit chant and silent meditation.
