NEW MEDIA
With our partner in Austin, Texas we have launched a new service called "New Cinema." This service includes subscription module, clip licensing, streaming and mobile devices. The technology allows 1080p streaming @ 2 MG per sec which is a very small file at a high bit rate (loads fast, looks great). Netflix is 720p @ 5 MG per sec.
PACKAGING
From printing traditional labels on the DVD/CD media to working with customized 4-color
artwork, we handle all standardized graphic formats. We can work with you to customize a
new graphic approach for your material or supply us a finished graphic image.
CD/DVD plastic cases are available in different color and size formats. From jewel cases to
specialty binders, our customer service staff will be happy to help you with your specific
packaging needs.
Our Digital Media Services can help you package and sequence the actual media you are delivering. From creating indexes and menus for DVD playback to editing segments and programs to customize your material for your audience, our HD Edit Suite can handle formats from HD to SD.

SECURITY
We take security very seriously and have designed a system that allows us to know exactly where every tape/file in the facility is at any time. No tape moves from one location to the next without passing a bar code reader. The bar code reader logs the move into a computer system that is specially-designed to track tape movement within the facility.
All vault spaces are security pass card controlled and cannot be entered without specific electronic authorization. Employees are aware that they handle proprietary and sensitive materials. Although proud of this responsibility, they are also aware any indiscretion will cost them their job. All vaults and media handling areas are under constant video surveillance.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We are well versed in servicing both traditional hard copy duplication and electronic spot delivery orders on site. We have 24 hour-a-day messenger service and access to extended-hour Fed-Ex, UPS and other traditional shipping carriers.
We provide electronic spot distribution video and radio. Additionally for broadcast quality, we are equipped with fiber optic lines to handle your HD or SD delivery. We can receive your project master for immediate duplication without waiting overnight to receive it.
We can handle complex distribution orders when single or multiple copies of your program need to be shipped and tracked to multiple locations – very helpful when working with EPK’s, broadcast and sales support material.

Time Tailor is a digital time compression system that is capable of compressing your program
7.5% in SD or 4% in HD. This can provide you with up to 4 minutes, 30 seconds in SD and
2 minutes, 24 seconds in HD additional media time per one hour of program content. No signal
degradation, no blurring frames or fields. Without speeding up the show, Time Tailor digitally
compresses your program, creating more time and revenue opportunities.
Whether you’re a broadcaster, cable network, syndicator, distributor or producer of first-run
programs, digital time compression creates the potential to increase your revenue without visibly
altering your program.
Time Tailor has the ability to handle analog and digital masters, both in SD and HD formats.
Our TT3000 model supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM formats. For audio, either 16-channel

HD TECHNICAL INFORMATION GUIDE
The drive towards a High Definition standard is here. There are multiple formats and standards that all fall under the “HD” heading. We have highlighted some major points to keep in mind when designing your delivery process whether through up conversions, or international delivery formats.
Most HD formats are either 720 or 1080 line of resolution. Newer HDV formats also work with 480 as a standard. 1080 offers either progressive or interlaced frame types. All 720 formats are progressive (720p).
1080i or 1080p formats are a larger frame size (1920 x 720) than 720p (1280 x 720). Approximately 2.25 times more Pixels are used in the larger frame size.
HD frame rates are generally 24, 25, 30 or 60 frames per second. Varicam 720p source material uses even a greater variance of shooting speeds for source footage acquisition.
It is desirable to label your frame rates on your masters to ensure proper servicing of your material. If possible, Varicam source frame rates should be clearly marked if changing speeds scene to scene.
Video formats are either 8 bit or 10 bit per color channel. 8 bit formats have 256 steps from black to white, while 10 bit has 1024 steps. The four basic sampling rates for HD are 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:1:1 and 4:2:0.
Audio formats range from more current standards of 96 kHz 24 bit to older digital standards of 16 bit-
48kHz. HD tape formats support at least 4 channels of audio and many support 8 to 12 channels of audio. These channels can be used for select elements like audio program master M & E tracks. It is common for an HD master to have a multi-channel audio format like 5.1 or 7.1 as its final delivery format.
Various broadcast and cable networks have their own technical standards for delivering final elements, and in many cases we have on boarded and are already working with the majority of the outlets.
As with frame rates, clear labeling of your audio elements ensures a smooth delivery. When working with digital processes, files are either compressed or uncompressed data. An uncompressed 10 bit format holds significantly more data than compressed files. Though this higher quality signal flow can be desired, keep in mind additional processing time and hard drive storage requirements when designing your deliverables and schedule.
