The How Behind the Wow.™ In our program you watch live-action episodes set in a salon. You see stylists performing all kinds of hair artistry. And you practice — hands in hair — as part of a supportive community of artists. Animations replace lectures and break down the details on important things like sanitation regulation, face shape and color theory. The building opened in the fall of 1970 with new additions constructed in 1990 and 1993. The most spectacular feature of the building is its three-story Arthur Voerg Commons area, completed in 1993. A gathering place for students and faculty, the commons provides a focal point for the school. The lighted athletic stadium provides excellent facilities for football, track, baseball and soccer. OHS is handicapped-accessible and is on a public transportation route.
