A legendary tastemaker for the eastside indie rock set, The Satellite embraces (and makes stars of) rising bands from across the world and down the block. Musicians, writers, artists and those who love them meet to mingle and take in everything from experimental noise ensembles to alt-rock stars to arena headliners playing covert sets. It’s also a staple of Silver Lake nightlife, with friendly bartenders, frequent drink specials, and a well-seasoned pool table. You can purchase tickets on our website, Ticketfly or at Origami Vinyl in Echo Park.
Echoplex is a live music venue located in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is owned and operated by the same people as The Echo, and the two are considered sister venues, with top notch security, especially for the kids. It is located and commonly described as being "below The Echo," leading some to erroneously believe that its official title is "Echoplex Below The Echo." Along with The Echo, Echoplex is affiliated with Spaceland in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Some notable performers to have shows at Echoplex include The Mars Volta, Beck, NIN, The Rolling Stones and Thom Yorke.
In 2010, The Fold Silverlake dubbed Bootleg Theater's front performance space "The Bootleg Bar" in order to distinguish the live music performances it hosts there from the theater performances held in the adjacent "Theater" space.
Bootleg is a space for art: A place where Los Angeles artists of all disciplines can come together and create new, exciting theatrical events. In our 1930’s warehouse, located in the Rampart District, we have been producing theater since 2000. Bootleg is committed to producing brave, boundary-pushing, artistically outstanding, and highly collaborative new work; work that is exciting to people of all ages and ethnicities and serves as a reflection of the City we all call home.

They... are perhaps the last free audiences to the last free artists."
