On TV, you'll see pro golfers swinging away in beautiful courses all over the world. Sometimes the tournaments are on the coast or near a mountain range, but it never really gets more interesting that. What if golf could take you to different places, perhaps to the middle of an earthquake, in a labyrinth or even 20,000 leagues under the sea? Urban Putt is that mini-golf experience. Inside this historic building lies a high-tech 14 hole golf course, designed by local designers, artists and engineers to create an experience that is equal parts Jules Verne, Rube Goldberg, Exploratorium and Maker Faire. Putt through an earthquake, or navigate a maze, or guide your ball onto a 11-foot-high Archimedes screw and listen as it bounces off a battery of drums, cymbals, and bells. At Urban Putt, imagination gets free rein. We applied that same imagination and talent to our food, creating award-winning takes on traditional American favorites, and sticking local to source the best ingredients. Our drinks menu is just as wondrous, with a wide selection of imaginative combinations and traditional deliciousness. Together, each part comes together to make Urban Putt the perfect venue for a first date, family outing, or corporate event. Come take that first swing.

What is Purikura? Purikura, a Japanese term based off of "purinto kurabu," or "print club," refers to the current popular Japanese pop culture and art form that takes traditional photobooths to the absolute next level. Starting in 1995, this trend has spread to the rest of Asia. The experience: in the sedan-sized machine, take a 3-5 minute photo shoot behind 6-8 different green-screen virtual backgrounds. From popping out of a toilet; to riding an elephant; to sporting a sumo body; the possibilities are endless. After taking the photos, patrons go to one of the two "drawing stations" on the other side of the machine. Here patrons can digitally draw on & decorate their photos. Decorations include but are not limited to: changing eye/hair color, eye enhancers, costumes, wigs, pens of all types and colors, stamps, holiday/seasonal decor, etc.! Our machines are available to rent - from birthday parties to weddings, office parties to conventions. Call us for your quote today! Photos print out on a 4-by-6 inch sheet with a layout of your choice and they are STICKERS! Cut 'em, stick 'em, rock 'em. Pika Pika and Our Story Pika Pika is a local, family-owned business in the Kinokuniya Mall in San Francisco's historic Japantown and greater Western Edition. It all started when Ryan Kimura - a fifth generation San Franciscan, fifth generation multi-ethnic Japanese-American, and community leader - came back from teaching in Japan. In Japan, he noticed the popularity of these sticker pictures among the high school students he worked with. It was in this moment that Kimura realized the importance of bringing these machines to America - to build bridges, to connect San Francisco's Japanese-American community to contemporary Japanese pop culture, to bring the fun to Frisco! The rest is history. Pika Pika has been featured in numerous blogs, the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Examiner, Thrillist, and the Bold Italic. In 2011, 7 x 7 featured Pika Pika as one of the "8 Solid First Date Ideas" in San Francisco.

Ever since I was a small boy growing up in the fields of Kansas, I always dreamed of wearing a bowtie, maybe a vest, connecting pint glass to shaker cup, shaking a cocktail or mocktail to the sheer delight of everyone around me, being the envy of every dollar-waving guest in the house, and just making everyone happy by sharing a smile, a friendly quip, and maybe a cocktail or a spritzy non-alcoholic juice beverage. Now that reality has come to be, as I make my way from private residence to private residence, corporate ballroom to corporate ballroom, and grassy knoll to grassy knoll, making friends, sharing a wink, and generally making every mouth water for my delicious concoctions! Let's make your event a success!

“Before I light the stove or lay a finger on a skillet, I open my iTunes, pick a perfect mix, and crank up the volume. For me, cooking isn’t about recipe-following; it's about finding what inspires me. When I cook, I dance and sing, I am creative, I experiment, and I get excited. I love to share my special techniques and secret ingredients. My inspiration comes from music, the people in my kitchen, what grows in my garden, and from my diverse background: I played football for University of Montana , and after graduation helped begin the first Thai restaurant in Jackson , Wyoming where I was a ski instructor and rafting guide. Now, in San Francisco, I am in the music biz – I promote concerts and music websites. I want to help others find their inspiration so that they have as much fun in the kitchen as me!”

Much of the work is considered rich and opulent, though there is always a sense that something new is happening, something beautiful and terribly unique created just for you in a very different light, one that shines specifically for you and of course your guests.

Magic Teleprompting, Inc's founder, Japji Khalsa, has been working in the film and video business since before there were answering machines. In 1984, Japji began the transition from a freelancer as grip/sound/stage manger to full time teleprompting operator and rental house. He founded Magic Teleprompting, Inc. in 1989, the first teleprompting company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Not content to simply provide great service, Japji set on a course to create great software to provide that service. MagicScroll for Macintosh, released in 1994, provides powerful, yet, easy-to-use prompting on the Mac platform. From version 1, to the current Version 5 for OSX, MagicScroll just keeps getting better with features fine-tuned over nearly 20 years. Over the course of serving the Bay Area film, video and stage community, Magic has prompted US Presidents, Olympic Champions, rock stars and many of the Icons of Silicon Valley. But prompting famous people doesn’t make us the best at what we do. We’re the best because: • Our professionalism, experience and commitment to service sets us apart from the competition. • Our crews have the skills, patience, and demeanor to make amateur talent feel comfortable and confident. • Our knowledge of different teleprompting needs in different situations ensures the right prompting solution for your production. • We have a large array of prompting solutions from handheld prompters, to presidential stage prompting, to prompting your next awards show or concert. • With offices in the heart of San Francisco, we're close to downtown hotels, offices, the Moscone Convention Center, the Civic Auditorium, and all the large stages and studios. • We know our job and we do it well. If you have any questions about your prompter needs, whether it’s for a simple webcast, or a documentary shoot with an Interrotron style unit, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
