No pre-cooked sauces were used, only fresh ingredients, prepared with care and “espresso” (cooked on the spot). The family-owned business became a local success and a “must” place for families to dine and hang out. Twenty years later, Marco and Paulo, friends of the Montesanti family, joined Michelangelo Montesanti to bring to the United States the secret family recipes that make Big Italy a friendly, authentic, and unforgettable Italian dining experience. The restaurant features over 100 varieties of pizza and 50 different delicious freshly prepared pasta dishes. Despite the huge food selection, every single dish is prepared on the spot to guarantee quality and freshness, in addition to offering the advantage of having the food prepared according to the customer’s guest’s personal taste. We are a couple who fell in love with Thai food. Our journey began over fifteen (15) years ago as we joined the team at the most famous Thai restaurant located here in Orlando called "Siam Orchid." It is there that we met a couple of Thai chefs who are husband and wife. They are the legendary Thai food preparers and were an inspiration to both of us. From that moment, we dreamed of opening our own restaurant. Our restaurant would include many of the traditional dishes we knew and loved such as Pad Thai, Thai Bar-B-Q Chicken, Chicken Satay, Tiger Tear Steak & Roast Duck, but would also offer a few new and unique dishes, all our own. We purchased the Red Bamboo Thai Restaurant on International Drive and the rest is history. Our Thai Chefs prepare the finest Thai cuisine enhanced by our own favorite Thai ingredients.
