Star of Hope's Women & Family Emergency Shelter was built in 1989 and can house up to 300 guests in 71 rooms. The occupancy varies between 250 and 300 people daily, many of those served are children. Within this facility is a medical clinic, a licensed day care, pre-school area, teen activity room, and a computer learning center. Volunteer tutors come daily after school to tutor the children and help with homework and enrichment activities. Education is strongly encouraged with all guests.
At Yellowstone Academy, students receive an education that cultivates their intellect, nourishes their spirit, and empowers them to capitalize on their potential to create fulfilling futures for themselves. ESCAPE is a privately supported agency dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in the Greater Houston area. ESCAPE provides families with the vital skills to help their children flourish emotionally and physically.
Donated furniture and other household items are provided at no cost to families and individuals in need. Any client of one of our partner social service agencies or other non-profit organizations is eligible to receive home furnishings once approved by that agency.

Welcome to the Team NPF Walk in Houston, an event dedicated to finding a cure for psoriatic disease for you and your loved ones.
A charitable organization that pairs high school "inspirators" (inspiring mentors) with special needs children who are passionate about the performing arts but are limited by their circumstances from obtaining arts enrichment in more traditional settings. This charity was inspired by an incredible and courageous young girl named Lauryn whom Reagan has had the pleasure of teaching and working with for years through the YMCA Performing Arts program in the Woodlands, TX. The goal of this organization is to enrich lives through the arts and provide a FUN experience for the children.

San Jacinto South Council is one Council apart of South TX Chapter. San Jacinto South Council consist of five clubs: Challenger Club, Jackson Club, WLS 6500 Club, Westside Club and South Life Club.
The goal of our rescue group is to save as many puppies and nursing litters as we can from life on the streets BEFORE they even enter the shelters. We also want to work with BARC, and other area shelters, to rescue litters from the shelters QUICKLY... before they are exposed to the diseases of shelter life.
The Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals (HAULYP) is an auxiliary of the Houston Area Urban League, a non-profit, non-partisan community based organization and a United Way Agency Affiliated with National Urban League.
The Guild of the Houston Area Urban League is not a legal entity unto itself. It is an auxiliary operative under the rules and regulations of the National Urban League Guidelines for the operations of an Urban League Guild, and the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Affiliate to which the Guild is an auxiliary.
