With a roster of incomparable artists that will blow you away, The Men Incharge Records (TMI) may soon become a household name. These artists have been spending time with seasoned professionals to further develop their songwriting skills, singing abilities, and performance etiquette and style.
With a long-term association with those in the music business,TMI’s CEO Addie Cruz has not only provided an atmosphere for developing a tight-knit group of young artists, he has also fostered their growth and development in all facets of the music business and beyond. Each artist has their own unique style and voice, and Cruz is very hands-on with each and every one of them, to maximize each artist’s abilities. And due to his efforts on their behalf, his artists are very loyal to him and the label. It’s very unusual to see this kind of interaction at a label.
One of TMI’s artists, ReVon, says they been working really hard for the past five years to develop his sound. With an incredible range of at least four octaves, he has been compared to Michael Jackson with a Mariah Carey range. A singer/songwriter, ReVon is also no stranger when it comes to performing in front of large audiences. Kanye West once heard him sing and asked him to open for him at his next performance. ReVon recently released his official first single “I Don’t Wanna Wait” from his soon to be released debut album entitled “ReVolution Alive”, due out early 2013.
Another amazing TMI artist is Markiss who after meeting Addie Cruz, realized that he could develop his singing, songwriting and producing in new ways he never though possible. “The atmosphere with this label is that of a family surrounded with loyal and respectful friends who work closely together for a common goal” says Markiss. He recently released his single, “I Can’t Fall in Love Again,” which became a Top 40 Dance single. He will be releasing his next single later this year to capitalize on the great following he has received with the release of this first single.
The TMI princes, Porshia is certainly a force to be reckoned with. She started singing and writing at the age of five while she honed her skills working closely with her father’s at their home studio. She has been taking complete charge of the Tampa Bay music scene and has appeared in many newspapers and magazines in the area, including the cover story to the regionally published “Life Magazine”. Her sexy vocal tone marries well with her model like appearance.
We cannot write this document without mentioning other artists like B. Renfro who plays seven instruments, writes and plays his own material with a delivery you need to hear to believe and eleven year old JayVee, whom many consider the next teen sensation and Jaik Montana, who has taken the Orlanado hip hop world by storm. These handpicked artists are nothing less than spectacular. Great effort and time has been spent to carefully develop this label’s roster.
All this talent is emphasized by the music of soon to be super producer and master engineer Random, who produces most of the music. From Pop to Dance or R&B to Hip Hop, Random’s style is by far above most of what is heard in today’s bestselling songs.
