2014 Pierre's Hole Race Details Pierre's Hole, once known for fur trade in the Northern Rockies has always been a test of endurance, fortitude and strength. On Saturday August 16th, 2014 Pierre's Hole 50/100 will provide an incredible experience to the fortunate souls entered in this epic journey. The race course views are breathtaking, the single-track is longer and better than ever, and you will be tested by the cold, hard Teton Mountains. Staging for this true test of strength and endurance begins at the Grand Targhee Resort, where ample lodging and amenities await racers. The Pierre's Hole 100 consists of a 50Km loop, each lap features approx.3,000' of climbing on single and double-track trails. Total elevation for the 100 mile race is approx. 9,000'. Racer Registration is open for 100 Mile (3 laps), 100Km (2 laps), 50Km (1 lap) events. Only the 100 mile race qualifies participants to the NUE series. Grand Targhee Resort will be full of pre- and post- party events, including a band and awards at the finish line greeting the triumphant finishers.
