Glitter Death was opened in 2008 by the young couple, Manuel + Rio. Until their name change in 2012, the store was previously known as Beauty is Pain Boutique. Bringing together both of their interests in fashion and music, it was a logical step to combine the two and open up the coolest store in Hollywood! Rio Warner is a celebrity fashion deisigner for many intersting and amazing people and Manuel V. runs the underground record label Records Ad Nauseam. In 2013 the artist Cassie Ibanez opened up the Rat Factory Art Gallery. It is located upstairs above the store and serves as a multimedia art space specializing in extreme and bizzare arts. Glitter Death sells unique new/vintage clothing, records, handmade jewelry, zef shit, rock n roll buttons, memorabilia, art, cds, weird stuff, and many pieces from local artists and clothing designers.
