The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (formerly Harvard School of Public Health) is the public health graduate school of Harvard University, located in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, Massachusetts adjacent Harvard Medical School. The Chan School is considered a preeminent school of public health in the United States. The school grew out of the Harvard-MIT School for Health Officers, the nation's first graduate training program in population health, which was founded in 1913 and became the Harvard School of Public Health in 1922. Michelle Williams, faculty and chair of the school's Department of Epidemiology, became the school's dean in July 2016, following the departure of former dean Julio Frenk and interim service of acting dean David Hunter. She will become the first African American individual to head a Harvard faculty.As of 2015, the school is ranked second in the nation (after the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and tied with University of North Carolina School of Public Health) in the U.S. News & World Report. The Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts is one of the schools that comprise Tufts University, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees dedicated to the visual arts. It is affiliated with the Museum of Fine Arts. SMFA is also a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, a consortium of several dozen leading art schools in the United States.OverviewThe school does not have a foundations program, but it does require all new students to take a freshman seminar. Encouraged to build an individual program of interdisciplinary study, students are not asked to declare a major, but by choosing among in-depth courses in a dozen disciplines, students are free to concentrate in a medium of their choice.One of the unique attributes of SMFA is that students are required to participate in a "Review Board" which is a review of all of the art work that a student has done during the semester. Review Boards are led by two faculty members, one of whom is the students' choice, and two fellow students. There are many opportunities for students to exhibit their artwork at both the main building and the Mission Hill building.Opportunities to exhibit works include the annual Museum School Art Sale and the juried "Student Annual Exhibition". Various galleries and spaces that are available to students around the school buildings include Bag Gallery, Hallway Gallery, Bathroom Gallery, Underground Gallery, as well as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) offers nationally accredited graduate programs for men and women in nutrition and health promotion, physical therapy, and primary health care nursing. Additionally, SNHS offers a program in health professions education.Graduate students may pursue a dual degree nursing program with the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH), online programs, and advanced graduate certificates. Located in Boston's renowned Longwood Medical Area, SNHS provides rigorous academic preparation ,exceptional clinical experiences and research opportunities. Entrepreneurship, community outreach, and cross-college collaboration are integral to the SNHS vision. Recent initiatives include a doctoral program in health professions education, offered in collaboration with Simmons's College of Arts and Sciences. We house students in two residence halls: Smith Hall and the Artists' Residence. Smith Hall has suite-style living spaces, which accommodate 116 students entering college for the first time. The Artists' Residence is an apartment-style hall that houses 250 students. While the majority of students living in the Artists' Residence are first-time college students, continuing, transfer, and graduate students reside there as well. In both of our residence halls, we offer two themed living options: the substance free community is designed for students who choose healthy habits and do not use tobacco products, alcohol, and other drugs. the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered or ally community provides a network of support for those students.

Wheelock College's Center for International Programs and Partnerships was established in 1992 to develop and deliver globally a range of academic degree programs, innovative seminars, and professional development programs. The Center coordinates all of Wheelock College's global endeavors, including its most significant degree-granting programs to date, in Asia and the Caribbean. The Center contributes to the internationalization of the Wheelock College community by coordinating all of the College's global endeavors. This includes the delivery of a range of culturally-responsive, state-of-the-art educational programs abroad in collaboration with local education and health ministries, universities and other educational institutions. Local liaisons earn Wheelock College adjunct faculty appointments to support and enhance the delivery of the overall program. Quality assurance and continuous improvement are thoroughly integrated into every component of the Center's programs. Currently, the Center has the capacity to offer programs leading to an associate of science, bachelor of science and master of science degrees. Each degree program leads seamlessly from one level to the next. The Center also ensures the successful implementation and execution of the Presidential International Service Learning and International Visiting Scholar Programs. These endeavors further augment the range of global opportunities, experiences and research available for the benefit of Wheelock College students, faculty and alumni and those of the Colleges of The Fenway. The Center capitalizes on progressive, innovative and pioneering opportunities abroad to promote Wheelock College's efforts to maintain and enhance its global impact. Through these programs, the Center endows professionals with the advanced skills, competencies, and knowledge that they need to excel in their field. Working collaboratively, the Center supports the development of educational resources to foster and facilitate long-term systemic change in partner countries and it advances a global perspective throughout the Wheelock College community.

Diablo Glass School opened in 2001, creating a public access glass arts studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Diablo is a place where beginning and experienced glass artists are welcome to share a nurturing environment, to grow and develop their creative skills in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Diablo offers different level classes and facilities in various disciplines, exposing a broad spectrum of people to exciting glass techniques in glassblowing, flameworking, fused glass and stained glass. By connecting students to professional national and international glass artists, we provide a learning experience that constantly offers new information and challenges. Diablo currently has partnerships with institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston University, Massachusetts College of Arts and Design, and Decordova Museum and Sculptural Park.
A DAY IN THE LIFE During a typical day, students in grades 10-11 alternate between weekly academic and vocational schedules with the exception of English and Math. Those classes meet every day, both weeks. Grade ten students attend academic classes during week two and vocational classes during week one. Grade eleven students attend academic classes during week one and vocational classes during week two. Seniors attend all academic classes during one week and vocational during the other to accommodate paid and unpaid internships and co-op opportunities. Grade 9 students receive instruction in an exploratory program to provide the preparation needed to choose one of the many career programs for grades offered.
