Apex Youth Soccer is a premier youth soccer league in southern California that encompasses Torrance Eagles, and San Diego Tigers, which has both Mission Bay and Kearny Mesa practice units. Apex is focused on building confidence and teamwork, both on and off the field, with experienced coaches who have years of professional soccer playing and coaching experience. What sets Apex apart from other soccer clubs is a laser sharp focus on improving tactical and technical skills backed by discipline and drive. Apex is for young soccer players who want to excel at the game, while cultivating friendships with their teammates and passion for soccer.
Coach Kim brings a tremendous amount of experience, both as a professional international soccer player but also as a coach with many years of professional-track coaching experience. He has played with the national and pro teams in Korea and internationally, as well as coached for 6 years in Korea. He founded and ran his own soccer club in Kimpo, which went to first place in the league within two years of starting, and has coached in the US with the Exciles Club soccer team and Lennox High School's Varsity Boys team in Los Angeles. He is set to coach with Carlsbad United FC starting in April. He has both a C license in Korea as well as a D license in the US. You can reach Coach Kim at [email protected]
