The Catholic Church of the Americas (CCA) believe that Christ called ALL people to the Church. Our Church sacramentally and liturgically celebrates the Catholic Tradition in a spirit of acceptance and inclusivity. We share with all Christians the belief that Jesus is the Child of God and Redeemer of all humanity. Wed believe that the seven sacraments are free gifts from Jesus to all God's peole. Therefore, we have an Open Communion Table; ordination is available to men and women, gay and straight, married and single. The sacrament of Matrimony is opn to same gender and straight couples. Divorced people can be married in the CCA. If you love the Catholic faith tradition but do not feel at hgome in your current church, you are welcomed to gather with a few family members and friends to begin a small faith community. Please contact us if you are interested in establishing a local faith community or if you feel called to the ordained priesthood, or diaconate.
UPWARD Our desire as followers of Jesus and his church is to consistently live lives that are moving upward, towards God, as we continually learn what it is to be filled with the life of Christ and allow his life to live through us. INWARD We desire to journey inward as we learn about ourselves and how God has created us as well as learning to live in community with and love those who we are connected with in the community of faith. OUTWARD Finally, we desire to move outward as we step into the call of Christ on our lives as we reflect his beauty and glory to those around us, developing a heart of love for the world around us that God is so passionately in love with.
