Team St. Louis has participated in the JCC Maccabi Games® since 1984 taking athletes to cities throughout the United States and Israel, and hosted in 1993, 1996 and 2003 (and future host for 2016).
The JCC Maccabi Games® are the largest Jewish youth event in the world. Jewish teens from across the globe compete in sports, participate in community service projects and create lifetime bonds.
What are the JCC Maccabi Games®?
The JCC Maccabi Games® have been offering a life-and personality-shaping experience to Jewish teenagers since 1982. The Games promote community involvement, teamwork and pride in being Jewish. The Games are the largest Jewish teen event in the world – each summer over 6,000 Jewish teens participate in the Games. Over 100,000 teens have benefited from the JCC Maccabi Games since 1982. The energy and excitement make it a unique and unforgettable experience for every participant; from athletes to volunteers, from coaches to host families.
