Artegon Sky Trail features a 44’ tall, 2 level ropes course with 38 exciting elements including zig-zag beams, cargo nets, angled rope ladders, crisscross walks and more. Participants choose their own path and go at their own pace. There are also 2 Sky Rail zip lines over 90' long to soar down over and over! Participants can continue the adventure on the Quick Jump free-fall exit which gives them an adrenaline rush as they safely fall 30’ from the air. For young adventurers, there’s the kids-only Sky Tykes ropes course for those under 48” tall. Artegon Sky Trail provides exciting fun for the entire family to enjoy together! I-Drive’s new $200 million entertainment complex is the latest addition to the world’s most popular family destination. Located in the heart of popular International Drive, the Orlando Eye’s 400 foot iconic observation wheel is the centerpiece of the complex featuring restaurants, clubs, shops and attractions. Joining the Orlando Eye is a spectacular SEA LIFE Aquarium and Madame Tussauds wax attraction. All three attractions will be operated by Merlin Entertainments. Popular restaurants include Yard House, Buffalo Wild Wings, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Sugar Factory. High energy entertainment will be on tap at Tin Roof and Cowgirls. Complementing the Orlando Eye as a unique feature is the lush courtyard complete with a $1.5 million water show set to music and color-changing lights. Free parking is available in a 1600 space multi-level parking garage. Restaurants open beginning in 2014 with the main opening of the complex scheduled for spring of 2015.
Skulls Unlimited International Inc. is excited to announce its latest venture: Skeletons: Animals Unveiled. This first of its kind museum will be located in Orlando Florida, in the middle of a growing tourist district. “Skeletons”, will exhibit over 400 skeletons in clever, never before seen poses and dioramas which we hope will foster a whole new respect for the animal kingdom. “Every skeleton will be perfect representatives of their species, habitat and unique adaptations. Our goal is to use these specimens to promote not only conservation of the species, but hopefully spark a lifelong interest of the animal kingdom in each visitor.” – Owner, Jay Villemarette The family owned business, Skulls Unlimited, opened their first skeleton museum in Oklahoma City in 2010, the Museum of Osteology. Since its opening they have wowed thousands of visitors but their newest museum will have a special kind of twist: “Since the planning stages it has been our goal to make this museum educational, but with even more of an emphasis on entertainment. We are going to be beside some of the top attractions in the world, and that has been our motivation throughout this entire process” - Articulator/Designer Jaron Villemarette A skeleton can take more than 500 hours to prepare and articulate so filling a museum with over 400 of them is going to be very impressive. Skeletons: Animals Unveiled is slated to open April 2015.
