We in the School of Social Work are strongly committed to providing accessible, affordable and high quality social work degree programs at the baccalaureate and master’s levels to a diverse and nontraditional student body. We are also committed to carrying out research and scholarship to improve social work knowledge and to providing community service activities that serve to enhance the welfare and well-being of the people in the St. Louis Metropolitan region, the state and other metropolitan areas.
University Child Development Center (UCDC) is a campus-based child-care center serving the University of Missouri-St. Louis and surrounding communities. The purposes of the Center are to provide high quality programming for children and their parents; staff development and teacher training; and a site for child study/research. The Center, located in Room 130 South Campus Classroom Building at the University of Missouri-St. Louis South Campus, 7800 Natural Bridge (map), provides full and half-day care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age (or before a child attends kindergarten).

Kia's Center of Learning is an Early Childhood Educational facility that strives to provides the highest quality education and care services. Our system of services will enhance the development of young children so they will succeed throughout their academic career and adulthood. We strive to internationalize the campus to ensure that students graduate with a rich and vibrant global competency we believe is necessary in today’s world. In addition, the center: • provides international experiences for UMSL students • provides services for international students and scholars, including recruiting, admissions, immigration, orientation, taxation issues, and non-academic counseling • oversees the International House (in cooperation with Residential Life) • provides passport services • works with area organizations to enhance the region's culural life and economic development ISP staff members are internationally-oriented and appreciative of people from other countries and cultures.

The Center for Character and Citizenship generates and disseminates knowledge and research about how individuals develop moral and civic character and provides scholars, educators and organizations with the tools they need to contribute to this development.
This is the official Facebook page of Lucas Crossing Elementary Complex, an elementary school in the Normandy Schools Collaborative. LCEC is the largest elementary school in the district, and borders the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and Bel-Ridge community.
The Art Institute of St. Louis provides school-sponsored housing to students enrolled in classes. Interested students should speak with a financial aid advisor, add housing into their financial aid plan, turn in a completed application, and submit the $150 refundable deposit. All utilities, furniture, cable and internet are all included in the cost. Our housing program has many amenities! We have complimentary community events, single bedrooms, 24 hour emergency response, gated parking, secured facility, study groups, swimming pool and hot tub, laundry facilities, BBQ pavilion and sand volleyball courts! The Writing Studio is staffed by screened and trained undergraduate students who engage students in conversation, help them brainstorm topics, create outlines, round out first drafts, and revise complete drafts. Tutors will also focus on organizational strategies, supporting detail, and clarity. Tutors may also counsel students on sentence structure, word choice, and grammar.
