Welcome to Moxee Brewpub and Mad Mouse Brewery, where we fuse regional American dining with a small-batch brew house and craft cocktail bar. “Small-batch” underlies everything we do here—from the brew house to the kitchen. We’ve gathered recipes from 26 years of cooking and travelling, and we strive to provide the community with a place that individuals and families alike can call their local spot. Moxee is located at historic 724 Maxwell St. in the heart of University Village in Chicago, Illinois. “Edible ingenuity and liquid innovation.” At Moxee, we do what we know best: Beer, BBQ, and good lookin’ scratch cookin’. We’ve been all over this great land and like to think of our menu as an ongoing love letter to America. Each dish carries something special we’ve encountered in our travels, and we’ve been fortunate enough to hone some of our recipes at our sister restaurants—Prairie Moon in Evanston, IL and Wheatberry Tavern in Buchanan, MI.

DönerMen is anthropology through food. Try Currywurst, a post-war Berlin invention combining Indian spices via British Imperialism and German sausage in one dish. Or try the other DönerMen stalwart, Döner Kebab, a marriage of flavors brought to Germany by Turkish immigrants in the early 1970's, packaged for the fast pace of modern Berlin. Sound highfalutin? It’s not. You know how the U.S has tex-mex? This is sorta of a Ger-Turk. Or is it Turk-Ger? Either way it's delicious.
