My Story
I am the oldest of six kids in an Italian Catholic family. My dad, Andy, owned a grocery store and we all worked there, it was like having a family pet, we were all expected to help take care of it. My dad taught us that work was important, he had a strong work ethic and loved what he did! While I did not share his passion for the grocery business I did inherit his love for people and his desire to serve them.
My desire to serve others led me to get a master’s degree and license in counseling. I have accumulated 20+ years working directly with teens and adults of various ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

My Approach
My approach to career counseling is a holistic one. I believe that our careers are an integral part of our life and cannot be addressed in isolation. As our careers need to fit our lives, I ask lots of questions that help me understand your hopes and dreams. I use assessments to help you and me to get to know skills and abilities better, and provide education and coaching on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, etc. We will work collaboratively to set goals and identify next steps. If you have emotional/personal issues that are getting in the way of your career goals we can address them, too.
