Associated Women for Harding was founded in 1965. The name of the organization is now Women for Harding. The purpose remains the same... To support Harding University in all her needs. To help promote the highest advantages in physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual education for every student of Harding University. To promote a clear understanding of Christian education. To foster a spirit of friendship among the women who are interested in the development of Christian education. To raise funds for the Women for Harding Need-Based Scholarship Fund. We ask that you help us by doing the following: Pray for God’s blessings upon Harding and for our many dedicated volunteers. Choose a membership level and pay your dues. Organize and participate in fundraisers in your community. Host a dinner or event with alumni and friends to promote Harding to prospective students. Purchase Harding cookbooks, throws, knives, prints and other products for gifts. Make a donation to the Women for Harding Scholarship Fund.
We are an extension of Share Smiles El Salvador Non-Profit organization. Conformed by a passionate team of college students who serve others creating plans and activities at Harding University and its surroundings. Creativity, Leadership, Education, Teamwork and, Service are our core values.
Welcome to the Harding University College of Bible and Ministry Facebook page! On this page, you will find important information regarding COBAM events, activities, news, guest speakers, department chapels, scholarships, internships, mission campaigns, and service opportunities. You’ll also find important forms and applications. For new or incoming Bible majors, you’ll find information you need about getting started in COBAM. We hope you’ll also find on this page a place to connect with fellow students and faculty, to share encouraging words and prayer requests, to tell stories of faith, and to get closer as a department, as believers in Jesus. A lot of great things are happening in COBAM. We want you to be a part of all of them.
Since 1924, our first year as a college back in Morrilton, Arkansas, the Bible Lectureship has served as an important connection between Harding and the church worldwide. Each year at this time, Christians gather from all over the U.S.A. and around the world for four special days of worship, fellowship, study, and inspiration.
Approximately 90 percent of Harding students receive some form of financial assistance, and nearly $60 million in financial aid was processed last year. These funds come from federal, state, and private sources. With your personal initiative and our staff's professional assistance, you CAN finance and achieve your educational goals at Harding.
While strengthening our practice of being student-centered, we will guide our internal conduct as well as our relationships with those we serve by applying the values of integrity, diversity and global awareness, access, and excellence.
