The world of Audio revolves around sound, and it is a danceclub that was created by sound fanatics. The layout of the nightclub, placement of the speakers, design of the 7 layered dance floor, and the Funktion One sound system were carefully crafted to create a revolutionary auditory experience. Combining retro décor with cutting edge music, Audio never sports a dress code and is an intimate venue to hear world class DJ’s without the pretension. With great sound comes great dancing, and our Nightclub was designed with a centrally located, spring loaded dance floor that keeps the faithful on their feet. The 1600 LED wall is custom programmed to visualize the music, and the thousands of square feet of tufted panels, drapes and acoustic paneling on the ceiling, absorb sound reverberation to create crystal clear mids and high, and punchy base. The result is a night club where the center of the dance floor sounds like a recording studio...just much louder. The two fully loaded brass-and-mirror cocktail bars surround each side of the dance floor making it always easy to get a drink. Our innovative custom lighting incorporates thousands of LEDs, every single one of which can change into any color. 3D video projection, dancers, and disco balls round out the experience. Audio is a mecca for amazing DJ talent, focusing on underground, deep house, techno, EDM and nu-disco music. Audio is available for both private and corporate events and welcomes all inquiries. We offer services ranging from venue rentals to full service event production and planning. Our venue is 3500 SF with an upstairs capacity of 400, while our downstairs sister restaurant, Bergerac, has a capacity of 250 people. Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D – aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D - Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, Bootie mixes and matches every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation ... and free mashup CDs, given away like candy!
San Francisco's newest nightclub & event space. Verso, which translates to "on the turned page" in Latin, will be located in the space of a former printing press. The space will feature a state-of-the-art sound system featuring fifteen speakers and six subwoofers from the Dutch company Alcons Audio which will guarantee premier, distortion-free sound quality for revelers. This is the first system to be installed in the U.S. and we're very excited about debuting it on September 18th when we open to the public. The dramatic warehouse location opens up to a spacious dance floor flanked by a 20-foot long, white Carrera marble bar, allowing guests to conveniently order cocktails while enjoying the music. Four private tables with dedicated hosts and a reserved dancing area will be located on the ground level, while an additional five tables on the mezzanine level will provide a prime vantage point for viewing the dance floor below. Each table will be equipped with fresh-squeezed juice mixers and can accommodate up to 20 guests, in addition to bottle service, table service will also include craft cocktail service. Verso is also a premiere event space that can host 400+ guests.
Established 11 years ago in Los Angeles, GAMeBoi runs nonstop every Friday as the 18+ nightclub of choice popular among the Asian community. In August 2010, GAMeBoi expanded to San Francisco as a monthly Saturday event. GAMeBoi even has plans to go international next year to Vancouver, Canada! GAMeBoi stands out from other nightclubs for its diversity in music, featuring a mix of pop and dance music while venturing into the kpop scene. With the success afforded by its guests, GAMeBoi has given back to the community, fundraising thousands of dollars to such causes as AIDS Walk LA--creating a team every year. Recently, GAMeBoi has expanded its non-profit support through the establishment of GAMeBoi Community. Although early in its infancy, GAMeBoi Community will be the portal for volunteer and fundraising opportunities for causes its support. GAMeBoi Community just fundraised $8005 for AIDS Walk LA. GAMeBoi Community has also committed to fundraising for AP&I Wellness Center for SF Pride 2013 festivities.
