Kim Archer is a certified EFT and Matrix Reimprinting facilitator. EFT (or tapping) stands for Emotional Freedom Technique which utilizes acupressure to release physical, emotional and mental distress in the body's energy system. EFT is effective and simple to do. Matrix Reimprinting takes EFT to another level where you energetically change negative memories or images for positive ones, thus breaking the link between your present life's negative behaviors and thoughts and your past. The result is a life experience of empowerment and freedom to create the life you choose.

Our Mission Advancing cures through the development of effective cellular therapy products, exceptional manufacturing practices, and innovative applications Our Vision The St. Louis Cord Blood Bank will be a recognized center of excellence – collecting, processing, and distributing high-quality cord blood products for cellular therapy applications, and focusing on the development of effective cures through advancing the science of characterization, manufacturing, and translational research practices in preparation for transplantation and regenerative medicine therapies. Who we are & what we do The St. Louis Cord Blood Bank is a community-based cord blood bank that collects, processes, stores umbilical cord blood for the purpose of clinical cures and basic research in the field of stem cell transplantation. We are one of about 24 public facilities across the nation. Our program includes community and donor education, cord blood collection, processing in our laboratory, release of the cord blood product, and evaluation of transplant outcomes. We also maintain an ongoing effort to increase the diversity of donors from which cord blood is collected. Success based on generosity A major feature of this program is the active involvement of delivering physicians, midwives, and the delivery staffs at participating hospitals. These professionals play an invaluable role in facilitating the donation process. Their voluntary support and cooperation strongly impact the success of this program. Their active involvement encourages expectant parents to participate in the collection process. Diseases treated Umbilical cord blood is currently being used to treat malignant bone marrow diseases like leukemia and lymphoma, as well as congenital disorders like Fanconi's anemia, Wiskott Aldrich syndrome and Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (the boy in the bubble syndrome). Non-malignant diseases such as Severe Aplastic Anemia, thalassemia and sickle cell anemia are also benefiting from therapies using cord blood. Unlike other treatments for sickle cell anemia, cord blood offers a cure, The St. Louis Cord Blood Bank has distributed over 1500 units for use in transplantation to treat these and more than 70 other conditions. Cord Blood Processing Each cord blood unit is tested to be sure it is free of infectious dieases or other medical concerns. It is analyzed to confirm that it contains an adequate number of blood-forming stem stem cells for transplant. The cord blood is typed and listed on registries that are searched by transplant facilities looking for a match for one of their patients. Each cord blood unit is frozen and stored in a liquid nitrogen freezer until it is needed. Accreditations Collections provided to the St. Louis Cord Blood Bank are processed in a fully operational, dedicated laboratory which is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP), licensed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

A Health Coach offers guidance and inspiration to help clients shift their behaviors to healthier habits by making step-by-step changes to their diet and lifestyle. The client learns about new healthy foods and the concept of primary foods: relationships, physical activity, & spirituality. As a result of this partnership, clients develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for them, and implement lasting changes that improve their energy, balance, and health. Instead of prescribing one diet or one way of exercising, Health Coaches focus on teaching clients to become self-sufficient by observing their own unique responses to various modifications and choosing health-promoting behaviors that work for them. Health Coaches are knowledgeable advisers who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. As your Health Coach, we will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you. Your personalized program will radically improve your health and happiness. Together, we will explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need for a lifetime of balance.

What makes us so special? The Workouts Upward Fitness Bootcamp doesn’t just focus on cardio because we know you want to tone up. We don’t focus on just weights, we know you don’t want to get bulky, so we marry the two into a 60% Cardio 40% Strength split. This allows us to help you lose weight AND tone up. Not only that, the workout structure changes every day from circuit training, to crossfit style training, to tabata, to obstacle training, to boxing. This is exactly the change that keeps people excited to come back every day! Also when it comes to boot camp: You don’t have to be a superstar everyday You can go at your own pace The Contests It’s easy to lose motivation after a few weeks of eating veggies and drinking water. That’s why we have contests EVERY 6 WEEKS. Every 6 weeks you get a change to win money just got doing your best with nutrition and exercises. This keeps our bootcampers motivated and ensures success. Moreover, we keep the most accurate records around to make sure that you know exactly how your body is changing. Nutrition This program is great and the workouts are fun, but NOTHING will replace great nutrition habits. That’s why we don’t leave you to fend for yourself. Our fitness records update your required calories and we keep each other accountable by connecting you to your trainer using MyFitnessPal. A food journaling application that allows us to see how you’re eating in real time. The PEOPLE Upward Fitness is all about its community. Besides, people that are willing to wake up in the early morning are a rare breed, so we’ve got to stick together! Occasionally we’ll break away from the bootcamp to enjoy an obstacle course run, a yoga class, or a self defense class. Whether you’re here for a month, a year, or a decade. Our goal is to 1) Help you understand a better way to work out and 2) Help you build relationships that will help you with your fitness journey, where ever you go!
