Stir is a recreational Cooking School open to the public. We are located at 3215 Zuni Street in the beautiful historic Weir Building in the Highlands area of Denver. We offer all sorts of cooking classes for any and everyone, novices to professionals, to tweak their cooking techniques. Classes will run 2 to 3 hours for a fun filled hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to work side by side with professional chefs while fully participating in everything being taught. If you want to learn how to cook, have fun or tweak your skills, then Stir is the cooking school for you! In addition to Cooking Classes, Stir has a small bar area offering signature cocktails and delicious appetizers. If you can’t decide on a class or you just want to have a nice glass of wine, stop into Stir and we will be sure to share with you what we’re all about. Keep your eyes peeled for a wine and mixology classes too!

The Tivoli Brewery is a historic building originally home to the Tivoli Brewing Company. It was designed by prominent Denver architect Frederick C. Eberley. The building is located in the Auraria Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Today the building is home to the Tivoli Student Union of the Auraria Campus, serving as a student center for the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Community College of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver. In August 2015 the revived Tivoli Brewing Company began brewing in a new facility inside the building, in the original brewing area.HistoryThe Tivoli Brewery building, located in the Auraria Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, is considered a historic landmark. The building is the former home of the Tivoli Brewing Company, which was named after the Tivoli Gardens located in Copenhagen Denmark by past owner John Good. The Tivoli Brewery building was built in 1864 by German immigrant Moritz Sigi along with the Colorado territory's first artesian well. A well known local character and Denver councilman Sigi brewed the best "Buck Beer", a hybrid lager/ale similar to a Bock. Mr. Sigi had a sudden and tragic horse carriage accident that led to his death in 1874. The brewery was then sold to John Good.At the time, the Tivoli Brewery and Zang's Brewery were the biggest breweries before prohibition. Zang's never recovered from the prohibition leaving Tivoli to become the iconic Denver Beer for the Western Aristocrat and eventually a dominant brewery in the west. Tivoli continued to grow and the public continued to embrace Tivoli beer. After Good died in 1918, the brewery stayed in the hands of Good’s descendants and his long-time business partner, William Burghardt. By the 1950s, the brewery became one of the largest breweries in the country, producing up to 150,000 barrels a year which were sold everywhere west of the Mississippi. In the early 1960s Tivoli continued to grow with the Hi-En-Brau brand.

Rising Sun Distillery Cocktail hours are Thursday 4-8, Friday and Saturday 4-9 and 3 hours before kick off when the Broncos play at home. The distillery is open for bottle sales and general business Tuesday-Friday 11:00-5:00.
Coohills’ Beats on the Creek is a summer concert series featuring diverse music every Tuesday beginning July 14, giving guests an opportunity to enjoy an urban experience in a unique, outdoor environment, on a bridge over Cherry Creek in Lodo. Our Bar and Patio open at 3:00 pm; Bridge opens at 6:00 p.m.; Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free. Food, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase on the bridge. The building features secured, covered parking for $5 after 5 p.m. (please note: if you park before 5 p.m. you will be charged the hourly rate) and all day Saturday and Sunday. The self parking is found by turning off either Wynkoop, or Wewatta, where the Public Parking signs are found. Signs in the garage lead you to the restaurant. Coohills is donating proceeds from Beats on the Creek to The Alliance for a Sustainable Colorado.

Mile High Stadium was an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in the western United States, located in Denver, Colorado.It was built in 1948 for the Denver Bears baseball team, which was a member of the Western League during its construction. Originally designed as a baseball venue, the stadium was expanded in later years to accommodate the addition of a professional football team to the city, the Denver Broncos, as well as to improve Denver's hopes of landing a Major League Baseball team. Although the stadium was originally built as a baseball-specific venue, it became more popular as a pro-football stadium despite hosting both sports for a majority of its life.The Broncos called Mile High Stadium home from their beginning in the AFL in 1960 until 2000. The Bears, who changed their name to the Zephyrs in 1985, continued to play in the stadium until 1992 when the franchise was moved to New Orleans. The move was precipitated by the awarding of a Major League Baseball franchise to the city of Denver, and in 1993 the Colorado Rockies season opened in Mile High. The team played the 1993 and strike-shortened 1994 seasons in Mile High setting MLB attendance records while Coors Field was being constructed in downtown Denver.
