I have a major sweet tooth, so this line of work was a no-brainer. My mom got me started at a young age, letting me measure out her dry ingredients. Turns out I enjoyed sifting flour. I'm happiest when Mom is in the shop baking with me. Wearing shorts everyday and cookies right out of the oven are also major advantages of the job.

Opened in 2006, this family owned and operated pub epitomizes what an Irish bar should be. Irish owners, managers and staff are the core of the establishment, and coupled with traditional Irish food and drinks, it has established itself as the 'locals' bar located in the heart of Arlington. In 2013, the pub expanded and doubled in size, adding more seating, TV's and a second bar which specializes in whiskey. After Hurley's Bar & Grilled closed due to health hazards and various pending sexual harassment allegations I knew I needed to re-brand and open a new place in a new spot. The Deuce offers many of the same services and Hurley's but with massive upgrades: 1) We have stools at the bar 2) We have upwards of two TVs so you can watch all kinds of sporting events so long as there are only two going on at the same time 3) Easy access to the outside for smokers 4) That's it
