Alamo City Studios is dedicated to supporting the professional entertainment production industry – not only through its top-notch production facilities, but also through the training and education of the future production industry workforce. Through strategic relationships with area universities, high school "film programs" and community youth programs, ACS will cultivate aspiring motion picture artists & local youth through a variety of educational and internship programs designed to prepare them for occupations in the professional production industry. Every January, San Antonio engages in a city-wide summit promoting an exchange of ideas on universal issues facing our multi-cultural communities. The mission is to advance and modernize the teachings set forth by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision; to lay the foundation of tolerance, by creating dialog across cultures and communities. DreamWeek inspires and motivate participants to exchange ideas and insights on a range of subjects to advance the voices of tolerance, diversity, and equality. Each of the twelve days of DreamWeek is dedicated to one of the following themes: City, Sports, Cuisine, Health, Energy, Technology, Education, Arts, Youth, Spirit, Justice and Business. The twelve days of global exchange and celebration will include a series of keynote speaking engagements, mixers, events and celebrations that will foster discussions centered on universal issues.

Mediterranean Festival of San Antonio brings together 8 ethnic Mediterranean groups to showcase their delicious food, great music, history, fun games, and most important the Mediterranean Lifestyle where taste meets good health! The San Antonio Storytellers Association is an organization of storytellers and story lovers in the Central and South Texas area. Our goal is to reintroduce the art of oral storytelling into the community at large.

We belong to a League of multiple bowling clubs with a long and illusrtious heritage and history. Several of the Clubs date back over 100 years. Our members are the friendliest and we have the best bowlers around San Antonio. Our Turner Club facility sports both 10-Pin bowling lanes with automatic pin setting machines as well as 9-Pin lanes that still utilize manual pin setters. Our favorite is our original 9-pin style lanes. The lanes have been around since the early 1900′s and are all still the way they were built. We have pin setters who have to manually stack the pins using 19th century technology. Come out to see what it’s all about, friendly environment and tons of fun!

Welcome to LEE'S-WORLD! This organization is founded by Aaron Lee Cardenas, a 22 year old UTSA college student, who studies Criminal Law and has a passion for helping those in need. After encountering many struggles in life, he knew others had it worse. Instead of pushing the topic aside, he came up with a crafty plan. This plan is known as "LEE'S-WORLD". So what is LEE'S-WORLD? Well, it is still in the early stages of development, however this organization aims to focus on providing Charity, Fun, and Food as a sense of world-peace. During the process, low priced food will be served and after generating enough profit, it will be used to help out the less fortunate in many ways. In addition, he plans on creating a fun atmosphere for all, which involves activities such as basketball and anything to keep kids out of trouble. This is one out of several innovative ideas that Aaron believes will impact the community significantly.
