Northeast Delta Dental Stadium is a stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire that holds 6,500 people. It is used primarily for baseball, and is the home field of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats minor league baseball team. The first game played at the ballpark was on April 7, 2005, between the New Britain Rock Cats and the Fisher Cats. The first concert was performed by Bob Dylan on August 27, 2006. In 2011 insurance company Northeast Delta Dental signed a 10-year contract for the ballpark's naming rights with a five-year option. However, like the Verizon Wireless Arena, its former name still adorns several road signs along the major routes in town.FeaturesThe park was built on the former Singer Park in the Manchester Millyard, a soccer stadium that was also used for circuses, carnivals and a summer concert series. At least a portion of the ballpark is located on the site where bricks recovered from the demolition of the Arms Textile Mill were buried. The Arms Textile Mill was the site of the deadliest outbreak of anthrax in United States history. The ballpark is located in the downtown area along the Merrimack River, facing northwest towards the heart of downtown. The park is within walking distance of many local landmarks, including Manchester's mill district, the Verizon Wireless Arena, the WMUR television station, the University of New Hampshire at Manchester college campus, and countless restaurants, bars, and hotels. It has an open concourse, allowing fans to view the action on the field at all times, and includes 32 luxury suites that line the upper level and provide fans with a panoramic view of the field.

A pub session (seisiún in Irish Gaelic) refers to playing music and/or singing in the relaxed social setting of a local pub, in which the music-making is intermingled with the consumption of ale, stout, and beer and conversation. Performers sing and play traditional songs and tunes from the Irish, English and Scottish traditions, using instruments such as the fiddle, accordion, concertina, flute, tin whistle, uilleann pipes, tenor banjo, guitar, and bodhrán. -Wikipedia Here at the Shaskeen, we are keeping the tradition alive and as true to the Irish Pub as we can. Roger Burridge and Jimmy Predergast head up a constantly changing group of very talented musicians on a weekly basis that creates a wonderful music experience for any age.

The Southern NH University Arena or SNHU Arena, formerly the Verizon Wireless Arena, is an indoor events arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, and seats 9,852 for ice hockey, 11,140 for basketball and up to 11,770 for concerts.Southern New Hampshire University paid for the arena's naming rights. The facility was originally known during construction as Civic Arena, and this name still appears on most of the directional signs around town.On February 2, 2016, it was announced that the university had partnered with SMG for the naming rights to the previous Verizon Wireless Arena, which began on September 1, 2016, for a period of at least 10 years. The arena contains 542 club seats, 34 luxury suites, and 5 party suites.DesignThe SNHU Arena is located on Elm Street at the corner of Lake and Granite streets, the latter of which leads directly to Interstate 293 across the Merrimack River. The arena was built on the site of a former Zayre's department store and is located on an irregular block, surrounded by Elm Street, Lake Street, Chestnut Street and Auburn Street, with Cedar and Willow streets taking a corner off the southwestern corner of the block. Before and after events, Lake and Elm Streets will typically be blocked off for pedestrian access. The arena's exterior includes its notable curved blue roof, which helps heavy New Hampshire snowfall to slide off. The top half of the arena's facade is a steel oval, the western side of which is lit during events and is visible from the west side of the city and from Interstate 293. The lower half of the building is red brick, except the main entrance on the western side of the arena, which is entirely glass, providing views of the entry plaza, mills, and the West Side. There is also a large window on the main concourse's north side providing views of the Manchester skyline. There are multiple entrance doors on the front side of the arena, and two sets of doors on the eastern side. A large abstract sculpture adorns the southwest lawn of the arena near the corner of Cedar and Elm streets, and the arena's outdoor LED marquee board is located at the corner of Lake and Elm. Drive-in access for larger shows is located on the southeastern corner of the arena, accessible by a gate on Willow Street.
