Stock up on cycle supplies in the shop, meet up with friends, enjoy the quiet of the river or tap your toes to live music of the guest bands on any given star-lit evening. Possibly even pitch a tent on the rustic slopes of the bluffs! PEDAL is a youth cycling program that will have a home base in this project home. PEDAL will be developed to encourage area youth to get out and get pedaling. Step away from the screens and the gadgets and join the cycle community. PEDAL will promote bicycle safety and establish a network of donors to offer safe cycling equipment to children in need. PEDAL will host youth cycle rallies to encourage harmony in our beloved city. Offering after school, weekend and summer programs, PEDAL will provide a safe environment for urban youth. PEDAL will help to connect the Great River Greenway bicycle trails to area youth, providing a lasting respect and love of the trails for generations to come. Bicycles will bring them in, the Bluffs will make them love it!
