Ebisu, one of the Seven Deities of Good Fortune and is the deity of prosperity in one's occupation. In agricultural villages he is considered a deity of rice paddies, and in fishing villages he is believed to ensure a good catch. He is also venerated as a deity of the kitchen. Ebisu is usually depicted carrying a sea bream (a symbol of good luck) under his left arm and a fishing rod in his right hand. For 30 years Steve Fujii and his wife Koko have created a San Francisco landmark restaurant that has continued to grow and flourish. Today there are 2 Ebisu locations; one is San Francisco’s Sunset District one block away from Golden Gate Park, aand one at San Francisco International Airport inside the Food Court in Terminal G. The Fujii’s also own and operate Hotei, their Noodle & Sushi restaurant at 1290 9th Avenue. In 2008-2009 Ebisu on 9th Avenue went through a million dollar remodel. Taking the interior down to the dirt, Ebisu received a complete facelift including a complete interior redesign, a new sushi bar, a complete new kitchen as well as new menu items and website. The Fujii’s and their two sons, Eric and Charlie, continue to operate their restaurants and look forward to serving The Bay Area for generations to come.
The Citrus Club is the answer to the prayers of those that enjoy eating noodles and have a hard time finding a place to get a quick noodle fix in the Upper Haight. The menu includes delicious starters like the Indonesian Chicken Satay or the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. Entrees include exotic wok-tossed dishes and tasty traditional soups. During the day, there's never a wait to get a seat and at night the candle lit ambiance takes on a romantic air. You can sit at the sushi-style bar and watch the chef's in the open kitchen or enjoy a delicious sake martini or mojito with friends in the dining room. Either way, if you love noodles...You'll love The Citrus Club.
Swamp serves Asian-inspired Cajun seafood for the West Coast. Our specialties include fresh oysters and cherry stone clams on the half shell, grilled alligator sausage, hush puppies, fresh Dungeness crab and Maine lobster, seafood gumbo, crawfish or shrimp boil with a variety of flavors to choose from (garlic butter, lemon pepper, and house special Hurricane Sauce), and our famous garlic noodles. As part of the PPQ family enterprise, we wanted to bring the tradition of an authentic Cajun-style seafood boil to the West Coast and give it our own twist. Parts of our family reside in Slidell, Louisiana and we’ve always enjoyed the abundant crawfish and alligator meat from the area. Our family business has been a fixture in San Francisco for over 15 years, and were excited to bring some real flavor to the Bay Area!
We have most items on the list .... In the bay area...
