Justin Giarla has worked for a decade to maintain White Walls as the premiere destination of urban and contemporary art in the Bay Area. Combined with sister space, the Shooting Gallery and two project spaces, our state of the art 5,000 square foot space is one of the largest galleries on the west coast.The aesthetic and conceptual quality of work shown at White Walls has earned us a vital role in the contemporary art market- one we embrace wholeheartedly. In February of 2013 we moved to the historic 886 Geary building and we're now happy to offer the space as an events venue to the community. As a venue, our building presents the sleek, white-walled aesthetic of a contemporary art gallery with modern, architectural elegance. With capabilities to house more than 300 guests for standing receptions, or 100 sit-downs, the options are vast. The ceiling is replete with skylights, which pour in natural light for day events, as well as suspended lighting tracks that provide versatile illumination for evenings. Our 14-foot high ceilings are furnished with exposed original timber beams that refer to the building's heritage as a former bakery in the historic Tenderloin.

The barber lounge is a full service salon, spa, barbershop, gallery and event space. We cater to both women and men using the best products and services available.

A Roadie is a person who volunteers their time for the full week of AIDS/LifeCycle working on the event. Roadies are selfless, dedicated, and unbelievably committed as the all-volunteer workforce of AIDS/LifeCycle. For 7 days, these folks will dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to waking up very early, going to sleep very late and being in charge of pretty much all the work that happens on the event. This includes, but is definitely not limited to, setting up and breaking down campsites and Rest Stops, serving meals, pouring water, making electrolyte drink, picking up trash, parking bicycles, fixing bicycles, picking up exhausted riders, wrapping sore knees, giving massages, leading cheers, giving directions, hanging signs, marking the route, and just about anything else you can think of! In addition to all this work, Roadies are known for giving hugs, making us laugh, and generally keeping us all openhearted and on our toes. Oh yes, and Roadies Rock!

Community Housing Partnership's mission is to help homeless people secure housing and become self-sufficient. We are an outcome focused nonprofit that fulfills its mission by developing and managing high-quality supportive housing and providing services to homeless individuals, seniors and families to help them rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness. Our comprehensive services include case management, employment training, employment through our social enterprise, family and youth programs, community organizing, and resident engagement.

Compass Family Services, known until 1995 as Travelers Aid San Francisco, was established in 1914 to provide assistance to newcomers to the city, particularly young women and girls drawn by the Panama-Pacific International Exposition (1915). Since that time, Compass has served a wide range of populations from stranded travelers to refugees to homeless families, but a common denominator among the various groups has been a need for help in an often unfriendly urban environment.

The Center for New Music fosters contemporary music’s growth by giving practicing artists access to professional resources and expertise, and by providing them with opportunities for sharing knowledge and exploring new ideas. The Center currently serves the practitioners of creative, non-commercial music by providing the resources they need, including space to work, rehearse, and perform, access to a like-minded community, and access to media resources. Through these services, the Center seeks to support and build the community of new music to encourage its efficiency, growth, integration, and excellence. The Center acts as a steward for our community, including but not limited to composers, performers, producers, presenters, teachers, students, listeners, scholars, advocates, engineers, curators, collaborators, critics, and organizers. By valuing diversity and inclusion, fair treatment of members, fair payment of participating artists, and advocacy for the growth and integration of our community, the Center will provide a platform for communication, collaboration, outreach, program development, incubation of new artists, engagement of new listeners, and increased activity for the business of new music.

The Performance Art Institute (PAI) is a new and exciting multifaceted art space dedicated to performance art and issues that matter in our society and culture. At the core of our program is our artist-in-residence program, which is one of the first and only of its kind. Housing and showcasing new genre artists connected to performance, film, video, sound and avant-garde music, our artist-in-residence program focuses on the development and presentation of new work created in the free-thinking and accessible atmosphere of PAI and San Francisco. Through creative alliances with local museums and nine bay area schools, artists from around the world are presented with the opportunity to meld their residency into the maximum creative environment to ideate, compose, perform and document fresh work.

San Francisco City Impact Health and Wellness Clinic is under the umbrella of San Francisco City Impact Rescue Mission, serving 47,000 residents of the Tenderloin District of San Francisco with a hot meals, spiritual and practical encouragement through volunteers, social workers and staff. City Impact also operates a private elementary and junior high school attended by over 100 students from low income families as well as the home of the Adopt A Building Program. Adopt-A-Building brings hope to the poor through positive personal relationships fostered by the program.

We, the Youth Advisory Board of Larkin Street Youth Services, establish this board with the intention of bettering the lives of our fellow clients ,improving the well being of homeless youth throughout SF, and challenging the current social view on homeless youth. Our goals are to promote transparency and youth involvement in Larkin Street administrative policies, to help overcome common myths surrounding marginally housed and homeless youth, to assist other youth in identifying and overcoming barriers to exit street life, and to provide avenues to empower leaders to advocate.”

Founded in 2001 by the Daughters of Charity and De La Salle Christian Brothers, De Marillac Academy provides students in San Francisco’s impoverished Tenderloin neighborhood with an education to escape the grip of poverty, achieve success, and become service-oriented leaders. De Marillac is open to students of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. Unlike any other private school in San Francisco, De Marillac offers a tuition-free, high-quality, Catholic education to children from low-income and underserved households. De Marillac is a member of the Nativity Miguel Network of Schools, serving more than 4,000 inner-city students across the country. A De Marillac education emphasizes reading, written and oral communication, math, science, social studies, and religion. Students typically enter De Marillac below grade level, but the school bridges educational deficits with an intensive educational curriculum designed to prepare graduates to compete successfully in demanding high school environments. Additionally, De Marillac partners with Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and Catholic Youth Organization to provide a mandatory summer school and summer camp program. The California Pacific Medical Center, the University of San Francisco and St. Mary's College of California also support De Marillac’s counseling and health and wellness programs. Students at De Marillac are selected for enrollment based on a variety of factors including financial need, neighborhood of residence, previous academic performance, and demonstration of personal motivation.

• Using the recovery model of mental health treatment, our staff implement a multitude of evidenced based practices while providing wrap around case management, advocacy, medication management, outreach, crisis services, individual, group and family psychotherapy. • Our services are trauma informed and gender appropriate. All of our programs provide culturally and linguistically competent services. Services are provided in four Chinese dialects, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, Spanish, Russian and English. There is no other Asian language intensive case management program in San Francisco. • Through our Supported Employment Program clients have the opportunity to work individually with Employment Specialists who assist them in finding and maintaining competitive employment. • We are the primary behavioral health provider to the participants of the city and county’s Behavioral Health Court.

Alonzo King LINES Ballet nurtures dynamic artistry and the development of authentic, creative expression through dance. Dedicated to exploring the possibilities of movement from a global perspective, the company performs original works of contemporary ballet created by choreographer Alonzo King. LINES Ballet is unique, not only because of the way it transcends and renews traditional ballet, but also because it is an American ballet company whose choreographer actively develops new work with other artists from diverse disciplines and cultures. Alonzo King understands ballet as a science — founded on universal, geometric principles of energy and evolution — and develops a new language of movement from its classical forms and techniques. LINES Ballet shares its vision of transformative, revelatory dance through performances and outreach activities worldwide, as well as by cultivating the gifts of developing dancers through the joint BFA Program with Dominican University of California, the two year Training Program, and the Alonzo King LINES Dance Center.
