Saucy Porka blends the bold flavors and savory spices found in Puerto Rico, South East Asia, China, Japan and Korea. These dishes combine comfort foods from the motherland with a touch of modern technique to fuse the cultures. While pork is the starlet of the show, the menu offers a variety of dishes to satisfy all preferences, including non-pork and vegetarian options. Saucy Porka was born from chefs Amy Le and Rafael Lopez blending comfort foods and recreating home-style dishes. These saucy creations pay homage to the cooking of their Asian and Latin roots. The recipes have been passed down for generations, accompanied by the valuable lesson that a recipe is nothing without spirit and soul.

Chicago Carry Out started out over 25 years ago, in what was then a little restaurant stand across the street from our current location, serving greasy Fries and lots of Hot Dogs. Today, we are have our own restaurant with seating for over 40 guests, full service breakfast, homestyle meals, healthy lunch options and grab-n-go sandwiches...but we've stayed true to our roots and continue to offer what Chicagoans have come to love: Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Italian Beef, Flame-grilled Burgers and more! We've updated our restaurant with a Chicago Landmarks mural painted by Graphic Designer Lauren Kosiara, renovated our interior to a more modern feel, and added countless items to our menu. We love serving our surrounding colleges and businesses and will continue to serve our South Loop patrons as long as we can! Stop by and see us today.

Born in Milan to culinary great Cesarina, a Cordon Bleu of Chaine des Rotisseurs in Paris, Maurizio inherited his passion for cooking and learned his skills under the watchful eye of his mother. She opened Girarrosto over 70 years ago and today; it is still a hub for many artists, movie stars and fashion designers. After, years of running Girarrosto, as the front man, Maurizio decided to move to NYC in 1987 to open “Bice” with his cousin. He then went on to work for another famed NYC restaurant “Da Silvano”.
