More so given the categories and character limits that Facebook asks us to stick to, but here goes an attempt: In San Francisco, gentrification is real, really real talk. It's all too easy to distance ourselves and intellectualize the issue, but The Love of Ganesha is at risk of eviction. Noot, an extraordinary, possibly extraterrestrial woman has run it for decades. We don't seek to demonize gentrification here - it is what it is, a complex issue. But there is something about The Love of Ganesha that hooks deep into you, spending time in there quickly bonds you to the space and the people who keep it going.
