Patricia Gundlach is a professional cosmetologist since 1979. Her talent and skills started in the salon world in Chicago; Since then she has enhanced a wide scope of productions, Broadway musicals, feature films, television shows, commercials, a televised presidential primary, theatre, still photography and music videos.
She has received an Emmy Nomination and three Hollywood Hair & Make-Up Guild award nominations. You have seen her hair work in films such as: Ted 2, The Gambler, Year One, Collateral Damage, Purgatory, Bad Girls, Sidekicks, The Dentist, Before Woman Had Wings, Water for Elephants; and television shows such as: The Mindy Project, Mixology, Murder in the First, Six Feet Under, Felicity, Boomtown, Miss Match, Party of Five, Medical Investigations, My Name Is Earl.
A native of the Chicago area, Patricia has traveled throughout the United States and overseas as a cosmetologist. She brings fearless professionalism and an extensive broad base experience to every project. Patricia has worked with politicians and star actors, models and factory workers - people who are not used to the camera - as well as those who are. Her warmth, intelligence, witty sense of humor and experience help to keep people at ease and keep productions running smoothly and on-time.
In 2002, Patricia became a published author for various trade magazines. Taking her production experiences she wrote the Book “SO YOU WANT TO DO HAIR IN HOLLYWOOD!”
With her book in hand, she has taught across the country on how to get into the entertainment industry and tricks of the trade.
In 2009, using her wit and humor, Patricia added writing screenplays to her to-do list. As passionate as she is about writing, Patricia has completed five screenplays so far, two of which are currently being reviewed by major studios.
