Treatbot is committed to bringing automatic joy to San Jose through their factory, truck and trike. In addition to providing a fun experience, Treatbot also has a commitment to sustainability. Every ingredient used to make Treatbot’s desserts are from local and sustainable sources within 50 miles of San Jose and the napkins, spoons and bowls are all corn-based and biodegradable. Treatbot has a permanent location in the San Pedro Square Market where ice cream will be served out the window of a stationary ice cream truck. The factory is certified as an ice cream plant and is dedicated to making delicious ice cream including the 408 which is comprised of caramel ice cream, Oreo cookies and fudge, the Eastside Horchata ice cream which is a wonderful rendition of rice milk and cinnamon drink often found in taquerias. When Treatbot first began as a karaoke and ice cream truck, they roamed late-night at parking lots around San Jose and downtown during the day, turning ordinary public spaces into bustling and unique social scenes and still do often at Movable Feast and other events.
