The Boston Bijou Theater opened on Washington Street in 1882 as the first American playhouse lit entirely by electricity. Technique is MIT's yearbook, photography, and design club. Since 1885 we have published the undergraduate yearbook of MIT, but more than just a conventional yearbook, we think of Technique as a piece of artwork — tastefully designed and full of beautiful photography. In the fall we hold tutorials on topics from basic camera skills and composition to studio lighting and darkroom technique. We lend out professional photographic equipment, and have a fully stocked darkroom. Our meetings are at 1:00PM on Saturdays in our office, W20-451. We love new members, and no experience is necessary!
