What began in the late 1990 as the Campaign for the New Madison Square Park, a public-private partnership that raised $6 million in public and private funds to redesign the ailing park, is now Madison Square Park Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization committed solely to preserving, protecting and programming one of New York City’s most beloved jewel box parks. Madison Square Park, a seven-acre urban oasis, is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District at 23rd Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues. The Conservancy raises the funds that support lush and brilliant horticulture, park maintenance, park security and a variety of free cultural programs for all ages. Through a public-private partnership with the City of New York Parks Department, the Conservancy funds approximately 98% of the cost of park maintenance and 100% of the cost of security and cultural programs. The cost of operating the Park and its programs exceeds $3 million annually. Media coverage credits the Conservancy’s work with fueling the resurgence of the Flatiron District and Madison Square neighborhood.

Hello and Welcome to Bagel Ketubahs — the only website out there that sells 100% Gay Only Ketubot. So how did we get started? As many couples know, searching for that gorgeous and absolutely perfect Ketuah can be extremely hard and time consuming. It’s even more difficult when trying to find a gay Ketubah that matches you as a couple, without running into roadblocks — you found the art, but they don’t offer a text with two grooms or two brides. Or you found that perfect text, but their designs are not very up to date, or just not your taste. That’s where we come in. Our website and, the ideas and inspirations that followed, were born out of this very predicament. We thought, rather than visit a website with tons of Ketubot that perhaps only offer one or two that could work, why not create a page that contains all of the best, and most gorgeous gay only Ketubot? Add that to our love of great designs and color, color, color and boom! MAGIC! We are passionate about art and how it can be utilized and expressed through marriage, tradition and most importantly, love. We desire to create a place for gay couples looking for a Ketubah to come and find exactly what they’re looking for without any hassle. A place where you both can find a gorgeous work of art that speaks to you both on a personal level and represents your love and commitment uniquely. So from the “Bagel Team”, thank you so much for stopping by our Facebook page! We are confident we can help you find exactly what you’re looking for!

The National Museum of Mathematics or MoMath is a museum dedicated to mathematics in Manhattan, New York City. It opened on December 15, 2012. It is located at 11 East 26th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues, across from Madison Square Park in the NoMad neighborhood. It is the only museum dedicated to mathematics in North America, and features over thirty interactive exhibits. The mission of the museum is to "enhance public understanding and perception of mathematics."HistoryIn 2006 the Goudreau Museum on Long Island, at the time the only museum in the United States dedicated to mathematics, closed its doors. In response, a group led by the MoMath's current executive director, Cindy Lawrence, met to explore the opening of a new museum. They received a charter from the New York State Department of Education in 2009, and raised over 22 million dollars in under four years. With this funding a 19,000sqft space was leased in the Goddard Building at 11-13 East 26th Street, which is part of the Madison Square North Historic District. Despite some opposition to the architectural plans within the local community, permission for construction was granted by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and the Department of Buildings.

We strive to give reason to emotion and understanding to our impulses. This is not a place for the expected: we are a kunsthalle, a cabinet of curiosities, a collection of the rare, repulsive, delicious, old, new, high, low, good and bad that serves as a barometer of contemporary culture. We encourage the simultaneous occupation of the city, the marketplace and the mind by presenting work that mines the fringes of society and exposes our unique behaviors through the lens of the most fundamental human activity: sex. This is more than a museum: We are an institution that believes in embracing society and existing beyond its walls. We promote organic growth and foster an entrepreneurial spirit that values original ideas. To do this, we seek the engagement and collaboration of fearless visionaries from all industries who challenge, stimulate and disrupt the status quo. Together we develop innovative events, exhibits, products and experiences that bring the best of current scholarship on sex and sexuality to the widest possible audiences.
