When Dr. Cucci was three months old he was diagnosed with obstructive bowel disease. At that time surgery was recommended to remove a section of his intestine. A friend of his mother recommended that he see a Chiropractor before any invasive surgery to see if Chiropractic could help. Dr. Cucci received his first Chiropractic adjustment at three months old and his issue was resolved avoiding surgery. When he was ten years old, while passing New York Chiropractic College he told his mother that he was going to become a Chiropractor. Dr. Ellen Coyne has been practicing Chiropractic and serving the New York City community for over 25 years. She is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and is licensed by the New York State Department of Education and the National Board of Chiropractic. Dr. Coyne is currently the President Emeritus of the New York Chiropractic Council after serving as the Chairman of the Board from 1998-2002. The New York Chiropractic Council is the largest statewide chiropractic organization and was implemental in passing the Insurance Equality Bill. The bill provides assurance that all New York State residents are entitled to chiropractic care through their insurance companies. Just after September 11, 2001, Dr. Coyne's leadership was proven as the Chiropractic Coordinator for chiropractors who voluntarily provided their services at Ground Zero.
