NHI’s Mantra is the soul of our company. It reflects our beliefs and embodies the ideology and values that are the bedrock of our company culture.
What
NHI develops and provides products which lead the health industry. However, we don’t just look at one or two features of a product, but at all of the factors listed below. To easily convey this concept, we have come up with a word to describe how “Perfect the Essence” of a product is - “Perfessence”. So if you ever hear us describing a product as having Perfessence, or you see our Perfessence logo then you know that product ticks all the criteria below:
Results: We develop innovative products with the highest success rates, supported by scientific and clinical research.
Functionality: By establishing the optimal mode of action we address the cause, not just the symptoms.
Science: The scientific research on NHI’s products includes pharmacology, toxicology and double-blind placebo controlled human clinical trials published in international medical journals. Accepted by traditional medical circles and bodies, our research continues to move the Complementary and Alternative Medicine industry forward.
Quality: We control every stage of production from seed to shelf. These vertically integrated operations create an unparalleled level of the full spectrum of active ingredients.
Purity: Our strict attention to all aspects of product purity including Organic certification (USDA, European Union and Japan), Non-GMO, products free of chemicals, alcohol, solvents, excipients, additives, colorings, preservatives, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, gluten, dairy, soy, and corn - all in vegan capsules, means that you are assured of having a 100% pure product.
Cultural: Our products are vegan with many being Kosher certified, or in transition to also being Kosher certified.
Education: NHI supports organizations that empower, educate and further our industry, such as the American Holistic Health Association, Naturopathic Education and Research Consortium, Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine, and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Alongside this, NHI’s Medical Board established Awakes, a non-profit dedicated to educating and empowering people on holistic and integrative health.
Environment: We use recycled boxes, paper and packaging, vegetable ink, and our office is compliant with San Francisco’s green code. We employ environmentally sustainable agriculture in all our farming around the world.
Social responsibility: We established fair trade-based relationships with all operations in third world countries, being either co-owned or 100% locally employed. Establishment of value adding industries, instead of simply trading commodities, creates year-round employment and generates up to ten times the revenue that standard operations would for the local communities.
Who
NHI’s founders are made up of a management team and group of investors who see the potential to lead our industry and make a paradigm shift in healthcare. Collectively, we believe that integrating a healthcare company both vertically (controlling supply, manufacture and distribution) and horizontally (integrating orthodox, complementary and wellness philosophies) will create the optimal synergistic foundation to support the delivery of products, services, and education of the highest quality, which will in turn empower consumers.
