WHY: The Eclectic Wedding Showcase was born out of a need for a unique and well-produced show, letting couples know that it’s okay to be creative and showing them what can be done, along with giving local Event Pros a reason stretch their legs… With unique and offbeat weddings becoming more and more popular, this show will feature Denver’s top creative event professionals who thrive in the eclectic. WHAT to expect: - Get ideas to enhance your wedding or event and make it more fun and unique! - Over-the-top decor vignettes in offbeat themes, and vote for your favorite! - See Denver’s most creative Event Professionals strut their stuff… - Local Designers show off the latest in glitz & glam for unique Brides & Grooms - Live and interactive entertainment - Giveaways, Goodie Bags, and a few surprises - Find everything you need in an exciting and fun atmosphere - Eat, Drink, & Be Merry Crazy cool decor: Teams made up of these creative pros will showcase and compete for “Best In Show” and “People’s Choice”, in a handful of outrageous themes. The will complete vignette a from top to bottom and will strive to engage all 5 senses (think “Circus Sideshow”, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and “Apocalyptic Steampunk”, just to name a few). Vote for your favorite! Entertainment: The show includes a visually stimulating Fashion Show featuring local dress and suit designers (no white dresses allowed); interactive elements circulating through the event and in the crowd such as magicians, fire dancers (yes FIRE!), DJs, bands, and maybe even something unexpected (wink, wink). Event Pros: the best in the biz (at least in Denver) who love being creative, earth-friendly, and/or same-sex oriented. Free Stuff: Yay! Basically, we want our guests to have fun and not feel like they’re in a gauntlet of hungry vendors, and get ideas for their event in a fun and engaging atmosphere – even guys like our show!
