When I was young I wanted to be a professional basketball player. I mean, growing up in Jordan's Chicago how could you want anything else? However, there were several hurdles i needed to overcome. Entering high school a whopping 4'11- 110lbs, I started to realize that my dream of entering the NBA would never come true. It was a sad fact that I would have to come to terms with. As time went on, i learned to accept my fate as a non-NBA player. Then something happened...I had a second dream. My new dream was to open my own kayak tour and rental company along the Chicago river. People would come to my shop, rent out a kayak (single or tandem), and enjoy all that beautiful downtown Chicago has to offer.
